Dudley based 2153 is seen working route 140 in this 1993 photo. The 140 was passed to Quinton in August 1993 following Dudley Closure. To me the 140 felt the quickest bus from Birmingham to Dudley much better than 126.

Nike missile Base MS-40 was built in 1959. It was one of four bases constructed during the Cold War era to defend the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul in the event of Soviet aircraft attacks. A communications facility (Integrated Fire Control Center) associated with the missile site was located about one mile northwest of the site. When the site closed in 1971 the launch area of the site passed from the military to the United States Bureau of Mines. The Bureau of Mines used a portion of the base as a research facility until 1995. In the ensuing years the Dakota County Sheriff's Department also uses the complex for training exercises. In 2013, it appeared that at least one private company had operations in some of the buildings in the recent past. The former base was fenced and off limits. The Minnesota Department of Transportation has a communication tower on the site.

My Blacktron Base, built March 2010 - My biggest moc since i came out from my dark ages - It started as a small outpost, but grew and grew, so that i had to stop the build because i run out of parts - If i ever manage to visit a convention i have to transfer it on a standart baseplate - I also tried to build some playable features and came out with a foldable entrance stairway, a Tower with a roof that can be opened and a foldable Ladder, the big canopie can be removed and there are several balconies to mount the weapons -

On our unit patch we had a bird sitting on a glove or hand. It looked kind of strange and there were bolts of lightening on the patch - hence "The Electric Chickens." The 313th was known as the "Lucky Puppies." The 10th AMU/TFS earned the name "Blue Zoo," although their offical name was "The Sabres," as I recall.
