I'll gladly hold yours, if you'll hold mine.My umbrella that is.I asked this elderly man if I could take his portrait whilst he was waitingat a bus stop for his bus.It was drizzling rain and sometimes even pouring down so moments before I had bought myself a cheap umbrella.Ever tried taking pictures whilst holding an umbrella to protect yourself and you camera from getting wet? No easy chore.The man saw me fiddling on and he proposed that he hold my umbrella whilst I took his portrait.Naturally I agreed and thus this photo emerged.
The photo was shot on a rainy saturday morning around 10.30 am nearby the Sint-Jacobs plein (the name means Saint-jacobs square in Flemish/Dutch ) in the city of Ghent, Belgium
In case your wondering what the letters PLUM mean on the man's baseballcap, PLUM is a store wherethey sell bycicles in the city of Ghent

I saw this guy in Bradford city centre struggling with about 5 carrier bags and a trolley. I have no idea what was in these bags but I think he looks like he's been taken straight out of NY and dropped in Bradford.
I never was much of a girly-girl. I never played with dolls much as a child. You won't see me in a dress or a skirt very often. It will be a rare day indeed to see me attired in ruffles or lace!
This is how I feel comfortable: in jeans, a t-shirt and a baseball cap. Hey, don't look for me to change now!
He is a construction worker who works on spreading asphalt for roads. A few years ago, he had an accident where hot asphalt splashed into his left eye, and it is still not back to normal. He is back to work, working road construction all over the Southwest U.S.
Tunisia is one of the most open and westernized of the Arab lands. Many people dress in a very western style. Some, like this fellow, have abandoned traditional head coverings for a good old fashioned American baseball cap.
This is a lighted Gator baseball cap that I bought in Atlanta to wear to the Final Four in 2007. The little lights flash in an alternating pattern, so I did a long exposure here to catch them lit up at the same time.
