All major pieces of the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) RJ Aviation (Bombardier) CRJ700 and the Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk involved in the Jan. 29 mid-air collision near Ronald Reagan National Airport have now been recovered to a secure airport facility for further examination and documentation.

Just in time for baseball season, Globe Trodden is now selling attractive baseball caps and t-shirts on his website. I can vouch for its comfort and practicality, as it's protected me from both sunburn and rain for over a week---and allowed me to pass for a pilot. "Are you an airline pilot, young lady?"

Yeah, I look like I'm hiking but actually I'm at the beach, but then that's what happens when you head for the fjords....

I've had a busy day and haven't even taken a shower yet, and it's almost 4 p.m. Grody but comfortable.

I had a really busy and fun day today. I took today and tomorrow as vacation days from work and today I went to an off-camera flash workshop. We had three high school girls who modeled for us and we shot in some really interesting spots. It's going to take me a few days to upload them, but I will. Fought the traffic on the way home - oh, and the heat, too, as my a/c is out in my car. I have an appointment tomorrow morning to, hopefully, get that fixed. Tutoring then several errands in preparation for my family reunion this weekend. It was a long, but productive and fun day today and I can't believe that I forgot to take my SP while at the workshop today! Doh!

Still trying to slowly catch up on your streams.......I'm working on it!!

Day 157 - 22-02-2011

I heard the sad news of another earthquake in New Zealand on the radio his morning, Christchurch looks to have been hit very badly. I only have great memories of the place, my best wishes to all of New Zealand, especially Queenstown.

You may have found this via Squidoo: New Zealand Silver Fern, great if you have... a few people have already!

I snapped this portrait of Bob after a long day spent fishing and relaxing on his Grandparent's farm. :)

Seen near Avalanche Lake in Glacier National Park, Montana. There was a person wearing the cap.

The "let go" mantra did its magic.Three different farms contacted me today .

. . .now the next dilemma, which one? Ha. :) Still learning to just "be" live in the now and LET GO of organized agendas since obviously I work SO much better without them at the moment. :)
