As a result of an external gift complement to my Kr, from my best friend, have joined in this snapshot, together, work and hobby.
Shannon, Brogan and I went back to American Indian Heritage High School to take pictures of the murals there (to be posted later), and this guy, next to one of the murals, wanted his picture taken.
But first he had to tell us a few details. "She goes to school here. She's native!", he said, about his girlfriend. This school teaches students about Native American heritage, so that made sense.
"And I'm black!" he followed up. We laughed - how do you respond to that? So I said, "Yeah, we're white.", laughing.
I snapped off four quick shots and moved on.
Flashback to hot Summer weekends spent lazing around in the park. Nothing to do but hang out and enjoy the sunshine, those long days can't come soon enough.

As in 5:30 on a "wannabe" Friday. July 4th is tomorrow and I will not on the computer. I'll be in the middle of the lake, on my pontoon boat with a beer in hand. Shoooot... I'm headed there now.
Jack Coombs coached baseball at Duke University from 1929-1952, after a successful career in Major League Baseball. He produced 47 major league players during that time, as well as six Southern Conference championships. Duke University's baseball field is named for him, and he was inducted into the North Carolina Sports Hall of Fame after his death.

I had a really busy and fun day today. I took today and tomorrow as vacation days from work and today I went to an off-camera flash workshop. We had three high school girls who modeled for us and we shot in some really interesting spots. It's going to take me a few days to upload them, but I will. Fought the traffic on the way home - oh, and the heat, too, as my a/c is out in my car. I have an appointment tomorrow morning to, hopefully, get that fixed. Tutoring then several errands in preparation for my family reunion this weekend. It was a long, but productive and fun day today and I can't believe that I forgot to take my SP while at the workshop today! Doh!
Still trying to slowly catch up on your streams.......I'm working on it!!

Project365 • Mar 11, 2009: My friend has a LOT of hats, particularly A's hats. He wears one pretty much every day to complement his outfit. He requested some pictures of his hats, so we had fun arranging piles, stacks, and circles of hats!
I think this is funny. He's hopping mad with me because I'm hopping mad because the lorry has no business to be turning here. I'm taking photos so the incident can't be denied later. But when I called out: "Smile!" - he responded automatically.
I like hats, I didn't realise just how many I have. This a few of them I took out of the wardrobe and left the rest in there! From baseball caps, to flat caps, beanies, pork pie hats even to bandanas, there's quite a few. I'll choose a hat to wear, wear that for a while then choose another one. It has been really windy here so it limits the hats to wear especially the baseball caps. I'm going to choose one for tomorrow and put the rest away for now.
