En la imagen se muestra el interior de la cabina de conducción del camión contraincendios expuesto en el centro cultural. Destacan los siguientes elementos:
Puesto de mando y salpicadero: Un panel de control de color claro repleto de indicadores analógicos, relojes de presión, interruptores y mandos técnicos especializados para la gestión de las bombas y mangueras de extinción.
Volante y dirección: Un volante grande y clásico con el logotipo del fabricante en el centro, ubicado frente al asiento del conductor en una cabina espaciosa.
TecnologÃa y visualización: En la parte superior del parabrisas se ha instalado una pequeña pantalla digital o monitor que parece reproducir imágenes o contenidos divulgativos para los visitantes.
Entorno expositivo: A través de los amplios cristales delanteros se observa el interior de la sala de exposición, incluyendo paneles equipados con herramientas de rescate y elementos de seguridad.

I can type a whole story about some strange weather that day and no mobilephone connection around this lost Russian (sorry...Soviet) millitary base, but I keep it short:
Most interesting place I've ever visited in and around Berlin/Brandenburg!!!
Totally lost it...
Before I forget to mention it: next to a millitary base, it was also a complete Soviet village and (most of all) a top secret nuclear missile storage facility and launching site.
Maybe that's the reason my GPS went completely bezerk that day...

January 21, 2020 - This morning we had our first landing in Antarctica. I can now check off visiting all seven continents from my bucket list.
We visited Argentine Base Esperanza located in Trinity Peninsula. It is a inhabited year round by Argentine families. This base was founded in 1953 and holds the distinction of the birth of Emilio Palma on 7 January 1978. Emilio was the first person to be born in Antarctica.
We saw the historic stone hut where Andersson, Duse and Grunden from the 1903 Nordenskjold Swedish expedition lived. We also visited a small museum, chapel and the school house.
Wildlife seen: Adélie Penguins, Gentoo Penguins and Snowy Sheathbill. On our Zodiac ride back to the ship we saw a Leopard Seal.

Started this in 1999. In late 2007 my oldest son who was 2 at the time snuck in the Lego Room and destroyed it.

JOINT BASE MYER-HENDERSON HALL (April 30, 2014) -- The Nation's Capital Region may have been deluged under heavy rain storms, but for more than a thousand audience members at this year's opening performance of the U.S. Army Military District of Washington's (MDW) Twilight Tattoo, it was all about enjoying the military spectacle.
Twilight Tattoo is an hour-long, live-action military pageant featuring Soldiers from the 3rd U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and the U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own." Audience members from around the world experience a glimpse into American history through performances by the U.S. Army Blues, vocalists from the U.S. Army Band Downrange, the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps, and the U.S. Army Drill Team.
"Beginning each spring and running all summer long until August, thousands of people watch our Soldiers tell the Army's story," said Jeremy Kern, MDW assistant marketing director. "Performances are usually outside, but if it rains like it did today, no worries, we just do it inside at Conmy Hall right here post."
Twilight Tattoo's opening performance was hosted by, Maj. Gen. Jeffrey S. Buchanan, MDW's commanding general. Buchanan used the first show of the season to recognize the partnership his command has with the USO of Metropolitan Washington. USO Metro board member, Bob Kaylor accepted a memento during the opening segment of the show.
Twilight Tattoo performances begin at 7 p.m. Pre-ceremony pageantry begins at 6:45 p.m. Performances from April 30 through June 25 will be located at Summerall Field at JBM-HH, Arlington, Va. Performances from July 9 through Aug. 20 will be located at Whipple Field, JBM-HH and of course if the weather is bad, it is held indoors at Conmy Hall on JBM-HH.

En la imagen se aprecia una vista exterior más amplia del complejo Base Forum en Rota, destacando su arquitectura moderna, los amplios ventanales, la plaza pavimentada y los banderines corporativos rojos con el nombre del espacio cultural.
Base Forum (oficialmente Base Forum. Espacio Cultural Hispano-Norteamericano) es un centro cultural y museo municipal inaugurado recientemente en Rota (Cádiz) —concretamente el 11 de septiembre de 2026 en un acto presidido por el rey Felipe VI—.
Sus caracterÃsticas principales son:
Objetivo principal: Está concebido para preservar, visibilizar y divulgar los más de setenta años de historia compartida, convivencia vecinal y relación estratégica entre la localidad de Rota y la Base Naval de uso conjunto entre España y Estados Unidos (cuyos orÃgenes se remontan a los pactos de 1953 y el inicio de las obras en la década de los 50).
Contenido museÃstico: El centro expone la evolución del enclave defensivo y la transformación socioeconómica y cultural del municipio. Entre sus piezas más destacadas se encuentra la exhibición de elementos históricos de gran valor para la aviación y la defensa, como el primer helicóptero SH-3D Sea King (el primero construido por Sikorsky para la Armada española), además de vehÃculos militares y material gráfico y documental cedido por vecinos y administraciones.
Dinamización cultural: Más allá de su función puramente de museo, el complejo de más de 2.000 metros cuadrados cuenta con áreas destinadas a exposiciones temporales y eventos, buscando convertirse en un punto de encuentro activo para la ciudadanÃa.
