THE SIMPSONS: 50 Cent (Guest-voicing as himself, L) brings rap to Bart (R) and the town of Springfield on THE SIMPSOMS episode "Pranksta Rap" airing Sunday, Feb. 13 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
So I saw this guy on BART, sporting the white earbuds, soul patch on his lower lip, black jelly bracelets, and a big fat Apple sticker on the lid of his Dell laptop. It was all I could do to keep from falling over in fits of giggles.
So, I haven't actually visited the site, but this is one of the posters for GodRidesBart.com. When I first saw these I wanted to put post-its on them saying "God, on BART? That explains the fare hike..." This is not me dissing the site, or having issues with religious advertising... just riffing on the idea of God as a BART patron.
At the far NE end of the Powell Street BART station, there is a makeshift steel wall that appears to have been put up to block off what would have been a corridor. There is also a steel door in this wall. If you walk up to the door, and peer through the cracks between it and the door frame, you will see something quite strange. Essentially the hall would continue on at the same width were it not for the wall. Extending, visibly, on for another 60 feet or so this wide hall curves to the right, seemingly toward Yerba Buena Gardens.
In the center of the hall, on the floor, lie suitcases of varying size, color and vintage, each spaced a few feet apart. The suitcases seemingly extend beyond where the curve of the hallway makes it impossible to see. As you can imagine, this is a fair quantity of luggage. Recently, the bags have been opened. Now their contents lie exposed and disheveled, having been apparently searched en-masse on the hallway floor.
Ariel Bart is a fabulous jazz harmonica player. Absolutely worth listening!

Unfortunately Bart suffered an eye infection and ultimately his left eye was removed when he was a very young puggie.
Bart is one of a litter of seven, born 03-Oct-1999.
Mum is Barbie and dad is Ken.
