Tharros - Bombay Sapphire Gin, Myrtle Berry, Moscato d’Asti, lime, cherry bark bitters ($16)
Named after a church, although the origins of such a name even eludes the bartender.

That is not a new political scandal in the US, and no pub either, it is the name of the famous medieval gateway in the middle of the picture!

It's the world's largest Dilly Bar at the Moorhead Dairy Queen where Dilly Bars were invented in 1955. The 1949 franchise agreement the Moorhead location has allows it to sell off-menu items. The world's largest Dilly Bar was installed in 2017. I'm not much of a DQ fan but it was a hot day and I honored the location by having a butterscotch Dilly Bar.

I did a Maui trip on the weekend and took my wife along for a mini kid-break. Shortly after we got to the hotel (around 1015 pm) the streets got rolled up and we were pretty much S.O.L. for any food/beverage. Even the ABC store stiffed us, locking the doors 10 minutes earlier than advertised @10:50pm so we couldn't even buy a bottle of wine to enjoy… (mental note, get her to buy the duty free at the airport BEFORE we leave)...
Anyway, we found this place a little way down the strip in Kihei and they had a (very) limited late night menu but more importantly we had 45 mins to last call… :)
They also had some very interesting decor, so I snapped a Hipsta shot with my phone...

Built at Wivenhoe in 1997, the 191g trailing suction, grab dredger/hopper "Bar Maid" was only three years on the River Bann before being sold in 2000 to Blackshell Farm Limited, Westport as "Jenny T". Sold again in mid 2002 to Celtic Sea Minerals Ltd, Castletownbere, Co. Cork and employed dredging calcified seaweed. A further sale took place in Feb 2003 when the owners became Marigot Ltd trading as Celtic Sea Minerals, Carrigaline, Co. Cork, who renamed her "Marigot Bay".
