The barriers are an interesting story. Much like the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbour, the Germans ventured into a harbour in Orkney where ships were readied. Lit by the moon and aided by the fact that there was no place for the ships, such as Royal Oak, to go, the Germans bombed the military ships.

To protect the area from further invasion, remnants of ships and any scrap materials to be found were dropped into place forming barriers on the various inlets.

We are living in an ever evolving and rapidly changing working environment. However, with all

these changes, there will always be barriers of entry for learning new skills or getting involved in

new ideas.

 

The Nelson Mandela Bay is one of the country's automotive hubs. Automation allows us to

produce more from factories, but we are also losing jobs.

 

What then is the future of work in a wireless world?

 

Social media platforms are frequently filled with images of young graduates seeking employment, in a working environment that requires experienced candidates. How does one gain experience,

when that very requirement is a barrier?

 

"Breaking Barriers" is a platform where we unpack and address the Catch22 of the working environment in South Africa.

The undeveloped patch at the top is probably due to either the 60 degree weather i was shooting in, or the high winds. Indoor shots came out fine.

à ce point de la balade, nous pouvons voir la barrière rocheuse de la combe des arbousiers. C'est ici que nous quiitons les chemins du littoral pour nous enfoncer dans le massif et prendre le chemin du retour vers l'abbaye.
