This sterling silver wired bangle alternates some lovely Apatite gemstone beads with laser cut sterling silver beads. The apatite beads are a gorgeous petrol/teal colour. The sterling silver beads have a hexagonal pattern laser cut into them. Each bead is then edged with sterling silver wire and with small faceted sterling beads. Emerald coloured Swarovski crystals are suspended between each of the main beads. The bangle is fastened with a sterling hook clasp that is slightly hammered to hold its shape. This is a gorgeous bangle and one that definately makes a statement!

This girl was selling bangles at Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges and Yamuna rivers at Allahabad.
This bangle was turned from African blackwood on either side and a slice of a banksia nut for the center band. The fuzz in some areas is naturally occurring just inside the nut beyond the outer layer.
Same cane, different backgrounds; and the left was deliberately fired too high too long, and touched up with a blast from the heat gun.

A funky bangle is made of hundreds of tiny glass seed beads stitched one by one. I used netting to make a, round tube, which I then embellished it with spikes of different sizes seed beads. The pattern is based on Heather Kingsley-Heath's design which I modyfied -very slightly I must admitt.. I used black beads in different sizes and finishes for the embellishments and tipped them with a drop of white. The result is this wonderfully fun bangle which can be worn for an evening outing and all the attention.

I really like the way the reverse side looks. There is too much texture to wear this bangle inside-out comfortably, but I'll display it anyway.
Formed entirely by hand, this bangle is adorned with slabs of watermelon tourmaline, placed in a mosaic pattern. It is reinforced with a thick, fine silver wire backing, and pinned down with hand-wrapped wire coils. There are numerous thai silver 5-petal flowers with centers of pink and green tourmaline gemstone beads. My most intricately designed project which took approximately 22 hours to complete

This is kinda similar to an outfit i posted before....it's the same skirt and hair - but the bangles are new!! *girly squeal*

The elephant in the back drop is from the Indian Curry sim at Bora. I thought it matched my bangles :P
