Baking lots of cookies in real life and in miniature with Re-ment, Megahouse and Orcara

Fortunately, I had some help eating these (or would have put on even more weight than I did). They were yummy!

a vanilla and chocolate buttercream cupcake to perhaps make up for the red velvet? a thousand times over, yes! the vanilla had this subtle vanilla flavor to it - dense and delicious on the tongue. the buttercream had this amazing chocolate flavor like none i've ever experienced before. it was rich but not dark chocolate rich, nor was it too sugary but still sweet. intense is really all i can say.

baked & wired seriously has a different (if not two different) cupcake offerings every day of the week. this will be my downfall.

no camera that day, so this is a camera phone capture under the atrocious flourescent lighting in the breakroom at work.

I made a batch of cinnamon muffins and then a batch of scones last night after supper.

We have five muffins and two scones left, just over 24 hours later. And around here, that's actually pretty good.

This was the beginnings of my Super Moist Dark Chocolate Cake with Cinnamon and Sea Salt. [Message me for the recipe]

So good.

Seriously. So, so good. Ahhhhhh...

My daughter's initials are QH so I cut these into those letters. At some point I got tired of that and did little circles instead.

Frankly, the Shake 'n Bake chicken tasted like KFC to me. I guess that's okay since I sort of like KFC.

I can't remember what bar we were in, or what time of the night/morning it was, but we'd all had a few. I think it's the night after Bakes spilled chilli olive oil on his trousers, but that's a different story altogether.

It was a rather chilly day so I decided to make something warm and easy. Added penne to a gratin recipe and sprinkled a generous amount of parmesan cheese for the crispy top. Could have cooked the bacon longer before adding the spinach. Had it with a rose wine :)

Since my wife had to work I stopped at Smithfield's drive thru. I had the chicken and pulled pork combo with slaw, baked beans and hush puppies.

The janitor that works with Ricky is retiring tomorrow so I offered to bake something. Then I find out he's diabetic. I have never cooked anything like that before so I searched the internet for "sugar-free" desserts and everyone that I found had cups of sugar in them! So I searched for "diabetic desserts" and found a great recipe for these brownies. I'll post pictures of the finished product when I get done.
