Note to commenters: Snide comments about Nazis will be removed. I've learned a lot from reenactors - one thing is that the German soldiers were usually NOT Nazis. They were just loyal Germans. Misguided? Yes. The "bad guys?" Yes. But not typically Nazis.
And I photograph a lot of German stuff. First because I find the uniforms are way more interesting than the allies. See
www.flickr.com/photos/jimfrazier/albums/72157674691447465 - probably have Hugo Boss to thank for that. And because at least half of the participants at these WWII reenactments are German. I'm an equal-opportunity photographer.

Technical: I was fiddling around with this in Lightroom. The color version was OK, but nothing special other than being a nice portrait of this guy, who I've chatted with at other reenactments, including Bristol. But when I shifted to monochrome and fiddled with the settings...he looks pretty sinister. So I went with that. ;-)

The Joker... all dressed up.... and ready to paint the town red Dead.
I got the hat and pink weapons a while ago (think the weapons were freebies) and thought I should get at least one shot with them. Wasn't really sure what to do so just thought flames, and green seemed to go with the Joker.
This is my third attempt at making a 16 x 16 Lego Star Wars MOC. It does look simple but it took me a long time to find the pieces for the back wall!
This is photo 1 of 2.

Sometimes, you just need to spell it out for people. You disobey the law, or us, well you better "slap leather" my friend. But, I don't think you can beat the 4 of them at the same time! And to be honest they don't strike me as the type of individuals that play fair, but that's just my opinion. Now the question you have to ask yourself is, do you feel lucky, well do you?
You're not even wearing a decent pair of pants! NYAAAAAAR!
Poe Ghostal at poeghostal.com asked for us to do this pose, so here we go...
We're the world’s new invention
A brand new generation
From your imagination
We're coming, we're coming
With the words that must be spoken
Our hearts cannot be broken
And innocence comes with wisdom
We’re coming, we're coming.
Clayface - This isn't my design I saw this on Ebay, almost bought it but I realized I had the parts to make it!
Hugo Strange dressed as Batman - After seeing the trailor for Arkham City I decided to add the character to my collection.
Killer Moth - I was either going to do him or Firefly, I really like Twitch's head so Killer Moth it is.
Raised in captivity the teeth are removed. The snake is really responding to movement and not the music.
I was greatly looking forward to getting a picture like this while in India.
For further inspiration (although the Cobra is the antagonist) read Rikki-Tikki-Tavi. It is a small part of the Jungle Book by Kipling. I remember a cartoon version from the 1970's.
If you really want to nerd out listen to "Riki Tiki Tavi" by Donovan.
Bonus points to anyone who recognized the Star Wars quote in the title.
I made the Tri-wheeler in "New LEGO Sets Style". The construction is strong and easy to build like most of the new LEGO sets. The colour sheme is based on the Rench and Cyborg minifigures from TLG.
the loudspeaker system tell all the hangar base crew to welcome the lone survivor from the latest attack of another metal moon satellite created by the band guys, it has started to become rather normal now, since the badies have used artificial moons quite much lately but there is a strategist on the space-federations pay-list that will probably make the loss of valuable star-pilots less huge in case the badguys wont change their tactics soon!
