Note: In the film, The Great Dictator renonces his dictatorship in the final speech of the movie. Sadly in RL dictators never toss off their uniform jacket of tyranny and fade into the sunset to play golf.

Ok a little back story.
A few weeks ago I attended a historical one man show (a Chautauqua), the person depicted was Charlie Chaplin in 1945, with him speaking a fair amount his 1940 film "The Great Dictator". I have been catching a few these shows with different historical figures over the last year, this one was the most impressive one to date.
Admittedly I don't believe I have seen the whole film, but I have had seen stills, and a clip or two. So for 1st time I caught his final speech in the film........ OMFG!.... With all thats happing around the glob, the parallels are just insane!
My normal way of doing things is find a song as my titles, I decided no music, just the words of Chaplin's moving and inspiring final speech of the film.
If you have not see seen this clip, do yourself a favor to replenish your soul, with this 3 minutes & 35 seconds of complete and moving brilliance.
Again I cannot say how awesome it is to shoot on The Continental Club sim. I shot this in Manor next to hotel.

A DC comics regular, Lobo is known as The Last Czarnian, he became the last Czarnian after violently killing every other member of the species.
My mom and I went to the Texas Photo Festival in Smithville over the weekend. The models were a lot of fun. Although not experienced, they did a great job of trying to do what you wanted them to do. This guy was part the gun fighting show. Despite the harsh sun and difficult location, I think we ended up with a handful of decent shots.
So I just a few weeks ago I rewatched this film on Netflix, I remember how amazing and funny it was, I really love that part with the "Forget Me Stick". So of course because of all of that I had to make him, his body was pretty easy and fun to design. his shoulderpads are close enough to the ones he has, I didn't add spikes on him because my markers wouldn't work at the time, part of his cape was copied from the Shark Army General's because when I tried painting on the actual cape it wouldn't stay, and the top of his head is sculpted, originally I was planning on making something similar to Egghead's headpiece, but Megamind's head is in a particular shape, and I think I matched it pretty well. Also his gun looks pretty good, but I wanted the gold studs to be flat, I couldn't find any that I had at the time, and of course he also has a dehydrated cube, I also plan on making Minion soon.

Since I love Harry Potter I had to do some figs. You know the Drill.
I figured out that there are not many Badguys made by Lego or by other customizers so I made some.
The right one is Antonio Dolohov a trusted and feared Death eater we know since Order of the Phoenix. He apeared in the meeting at Malfoy Manor and tried to assassinate the beloved trio in a coffee shop later in the film.
After that he killed Lupin in the battle of Hogwarts and died throught the hands of Filius Flitwick.
The other Death eater is unkown.
Both figures were completely handmade and customized by me and painted with Revell and sculpted with Fimo.
They were a crapton of work and the mask was a pain in the ass to make so I would appreciate a nice comment or a fav.
