Hey guys, I’ve recently decided to create more Halo stuff, and this is what I have come up with since mid-December last year. As you may know, this is the LEGO Halo Banshee! I clearly understand that it is supposed to be in purple… But, getting those pieces would take a century. The mail dude came by and dropped off the 2nd out of 5 packages I have ordered from bricklink and various places. (God bless!) And it was the package where the curved pieces take place.
Anyway, this baby is my version of the banshee. 100% mine. Just to clear it out. :P
Surprisingly, I had quite a lot of time today so I made the box art of it. :D

I made a joke about Lucky Strikes that I never should've used
Their patience was proportional to the shortness of their fuse
Bonnie's pretty little trigger finger was twitchin' by her side
And Clyde was cleanin' his fingernails with a foot long Bowie Knife
I brung 'em back the Cigarettes and the Dallas Mornin' Sun
I told 'em they made the papers front page and column one
Ah, we don't need no smart-assed kid actin' as our guide
Now just run along like you never seen, Miss Bonnie and Mr. Clyde
Excuse me sir I says to him, but I thought you was a business guy
I might have a little proposition that just might catch your eye
The biggest haul of Fort Knox Gold they're a'haulin back tonight
And loadin' it up in an Armored Car at the crack of the mornin' light
Bonnie grabbed me by the belt loop and pulled me in the car
And Clyde held a saw'd-off to my head and lit me a big cigar

Within a week I'd been transformed from a beggar to a wanted man
The dreams I'd had of a glamorous life were now, oh so close at hand

Clyde would've shot me then and there if he wasn't so sluggin' drunk
'Bout the time he raised his shootin' iron he passed out on his trunk
Me and Bonnie made our break, in Clyde's Caddilac De Ville
Bonnie was already on my lap as we flew thru Louisville
We got married in Niagra Falls, I got a job as a paper man
Within a week the headlines came, showed Clyde on an old divan
Shot full of holes, the both of them, which the paper then Identified
As the love who led him to his grave, Miss Bonnie and Mr. Clyde
We just couldn't believe we got away with a scheme as big as that
We were buying drinks and tossin' scraps to all the dogs and cats
We rented us a barrel that night at the Whiskey Still
And decided to spend our Honeymoon floatin' down Niagra Hill
We made the maddest wettest bumpiest love fallin' down that waterfall
Like a crazy pair of desert doves who had never seen rain fall

Another of my favorites from The Badguys.
I sculpted her hair and hat. Painting them was a pain, trying not to get smudges on the other colored part.
I modified a Chell torso by erasing the Aperture logo, and painting on some flesh and black. I also painted her gloves, and some rips in her jeans.
The jacket tied around her waist is e-tape, as are her shoes.
Tell me what you think!

Today is to honor the ultimate sacrifice the few made over the sands of time, so we can have & enjoy this "individual liberty" they gave everything for.
I want to talk a little about the sacrifice made by this little know element of the United States Marine Corps in WWII Pacific Theater, War Dogs of the USMC.
Unlike today where military K9's come from the branch or specialized breeders. The call went to household across America for dogs.
All breeds were accepted, over 1000 dogs, including my beloved German Shepherd, the breed most associated as a Devil Dog was Doberman Pinscher its tight coat was more suited for the harsh environment of the Pacific.
Their Mission:
"Messenger dogs were trained to run back and forth between two handlers at the command “Report!” These dogs covered impressive distances and could track down a handler who was far out of eyesight. "
"Scout dogs were trained to lead patrols, never bark and sense for movement in their surrounding environment. Similarly, sentry dogs were trained to alert their handlers and guard command posts, stationary emplacements and the front line at night. Contrary to belief, dogs were never trained to “sniff” for the enemy. At the time hand-lers did not understand how to train a dog to alert based on scent. Instead, each dog was trained to detect movement, with their own unique way of alerting, which a handler had to learn and anticipate. A dog might crouch low and give a growl or point their nose at a movement. During training it was discovered that dogs can alert on enemy movement up to 500 yards away. "
With the conclusion of hostilities in August of 1945 much credit must be given to the USMC for not euthanizing and instead retraining the dogs for retirement in civilian life, many with their war time handlers.
Of the 465 dogs deployed 29 were KIA

I was so saddened to hear we lost a giant of a man Kris Kristofferson last week. I was turned on to Kris as a young man by my uncle on his farm I worked when I was a young man. Such a brilliant man, a wordsmith par excellence!
I choose this song over the dozens of other incredible tunes he wrote, because I have always felt a connection of its duality paradox of the human condition, and we all have 2 sides of us.

My old friend Kitten Caboose from those cool peeps over at The Grove Art Center has created this unique futuristic environment, really well laid out with some superb details.
I was lucky enough get to do a shoot in the Kidd way going BIG, last week. While my interpretation strays from the builders intended storyline a tad, I had a blast making my frames!

The story of Three Finger Pines:
Once a thriving, green world, the planet Seva was rich with towering flora. But centuries of unchecked consumerism, pollution, and climate collapse shattered its natural balance. The soil turned sterile; the skies choked with toxins.
The Seravarian race emerged from this collapse, desperate to save what remained of their dying world. They launched a small fleet of ships into the galaxy, searching for planets with atmospheres that echoed their lost home. One such vessel crash-landed on Earth—deep within an isolated region of Canada’s boreal forest known as Three Finger Pines.
Remote and largely untouched, Three Finger Pines is a land of towering pines, sprawling wetlands, and near-complete isolation. To the Seravarians, it was a living memory of what Seva once was.

I picture this as a possible Cobra tank concept. The guns on the front are the goofy type I used to adorn all of my spacecraft when I was a kid. They need fixin'. I love those canopies together; it's a shame there's not much room for a fig, or studs on the inside, etc. It make s a lovely shape.

There is a new SiFi sim in town!
My old friend Kitten Caboose from those cool peeps over at The Grove Art Center has created this unique futuristic environment, really well laid out with some superb details.
I was lucky enough get to do a shoot in the Kidd way going BIG, last week. While my interpretation strays from the builders intended storyline a tad, I had a blast making my frames!

The story of Three Finger Pines:
Once a thriving, green world, the planet Seva was rich with towering flora. But centuries of unchecked consumerism, pollution, and climate collapse shattered its natural balance. The soil turned sterile; the skies choked with toxins.
The Seravarian race emerged from this collapse, desperate to save what remained of their dying world. They launched a small fleet of ships into the galaxy, searching for planets with atmospheres that echoed their lost home. One such vessel crash-landed on Earth—deep within an isolated region of Canada’s boreal forest known as Three Finger Pines.
Remote and largely untouched, Three Finger Pines is a land of towering pines, sprawling wetlands, and near-complete isolation. To the Seravarians, it was a living memory of what Seva once was.
