Toni was awakened Saturday morning by a cracking of wood,and found that the second tree was peeking in the kitchen window. John was outside spotting while Ray brought it down.

The back yard, mostly cleared of the first tree, looking much more open.

This is the grading work that the contractor did before putting down the paving stones for the patio. After this came a layer of sand, followed by the stones themselves.

Random branches and leaves left behind as the first tree was being cleared away. This tree was a lot bigger than we had realized!

The old patio concrete is all broken up but not yet carted away.
