The newly planted garden in the back yard, beneath the kitchen window. Center: Hydrangea. Front: Sedum. Middle left/right: Bee balm. Rear left/right: phlox.

The giant piles of mulch that came from the branches of our second tree. Came in useful when we redid part of the garden in the back yard.

Ideally, we would be building a screened gazebo with gorgeous beams and a cupola and stairs and shelves to serve as outside dining space overlooking the lake. The concrete slab from our old garage, ready for demolition. Note the huge ruts in the ground from water erosion. We had a massive downpour the night before that did a number on this part of the yard.

You can see by the shovels how much dirt still has to be removed

The new shed, mostly complete and ready for painting. The finished size is 9' x 11'.

Mavis looks forlorn; she misses her old deck!
