A photo from the Back to Basics Collection shot using the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT and the EF 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 II lens. This is a tone mapped image compiled from three images shot at 1 2/3 stops apart. The camera was set in aperture priority mode with aperture at f/20 and ISO 100.
The subject of this image is the back of a series of homes (looks like Philly row homes in old city to me) that were used as General (Lord) Stirling during the encampment at Valley Forge.
Lindum Grass Turf Sculptures were created in a Workshop by European Landscape Architecture Students (ELASA) as part of their mini-meeting in Scotland this April 2010.
The grass sculptures were created as part of a community event, Back To Basics Gala, in Muirhouse Shopping Centre.
Yorkshire based company Lindum Turf donated grass
turf to North Edinburgh Arts Back To Basics project.
