Backpacking 7/16-7/19 in the Olympics. Started at the Graves Creek trailhead on the Quinalt River, and got up to Enchanted Valley.

Backpacking trip in the Desolation Wilderness Area near Lake Tahoe, CA.

Trip to Cliff Lake via Courtright reservoir. Get there via 168 and Dinkey Creek Rd. Also stopped at the McKinley Grove on the way out.

After reading 10 books and returning his or her log, a child will have the choice between an Extra-Small T-shirt, a Small T-shirt, or a backpack.

But I got a nice artsy shot of my hydration tube :-D

Lake Margery where we camped the 2nd night

Stumbling across Jackass creek to go down to see the sunset at the beach (which we missed). Evidently we finished off the flask of 100 proof peppermint schnapps at the beach and I misjudged this crossing coming back in the dark and ended up in the creek. Now I know why they call it Jackass Creek, they must have prophesized my coming. Needless to say, I will not be taking 100 proof anything on any subsequent trips.
