Rather than camping at super crowded guitar lake, we hauled all of our water up to Trail Crest...only 2 miles from Whitney's summit. We were lucky to find a campsite with the most spectacular view of our trip.

Trip to Cliff Lake via Courtright reservoir. Get there via 168 and Dinkey Creek Rd. Also stopped at the McKinley Grove on the way out.

A view of Neil's pack on our way to camp. Yes, we hiked the 2 miles up to camp carrying that damn cooler all the way. Enjoying the ice-cold beer at camp was worth it once we arrived, though!
