About 20 minutes in it really clicked that we weren't going to get many flat sections. Yeah, yeah, I know. We're climbing a mountain. But still.

The inaugural Backpacking 101 program took 14 participants on an overnight backpack to Nambe Lake in the Sangre de Christo Mountains.
Day two of our 6 day/5 night backpacking loop through Stone Mountain and Northern Rocky Mountain Provincial Parks. Today we followed a route up the creek to just below Wokkpash Lake.

I used dofmaster to calculate the hyperfocal distance. The focal length was 35mm, the f-number was 5.6. The depth of field should begin at 12.8 ft and the actual hyperfocal distance was 35.6 ft.
