(Project 365 Day 316)

This is my project 365 photo for August 31, the day before my European trip. I got this backpack over a decade ago, when Eddie Bauer had a "lifetime warranty" on backpacks. I think they rescinded that warranty later (not sure how they can do that), but the backpack's been serving me well all these years. Impressive!

 

At least, that was what I was thinking when I took this picture before my trip! While I was in Rome, the main zipper gave way! Luckily, my dad just happened to have a safety pin on him, and we repaired it with that. I'm gonna finally start looking for a new backpack. Sad. I guess I jinxed it. :P
