Car Backpack made using Made By Rae Toddler Backpack pattern. I like the details of the pattern, and it is goes together easily. I fully lined the inside and added some dog ribbon trim to the lining since my son loves cars and dogs. I added a water bottle (or sunglasses) pocket to the side of the backpack. On the next one I will put the pocket on both side, so he can use if for both sunglasses and a water bottle.

One of my Adirondack backpacking trips with my brother. Believe this is near Cranberry Lake, Oswegatchie River

(Project 365 Day 346)

So just before my Europe trip, I posted a project 365 photo of my Eddie Bauer backpack that I got over a decade ago. I bragged about its robustness and its lifetime warranty. Ironically, the backpack gave out when I was in Rome. The zipper busted open! Luckily, my dad happened to have a safety pin with him that we used to hold the zipper together for a while.

Today, I went to the Eddie Bauer store, and they honored the lifetime warranty. They gave me a $30 store credit, which I used towards a new $40 (on sale) backpack. I miss the leather bottom of my old backpack, but this new one has more, like, pockets and stuff. And a padded back. Still, not bad to spend $10 on a new backpack!

A silly photo of the collection of backpacks I've amassed over the last 4 years. Crazy.

My very Spartan backpack. Notice the improvised duct tape.

Backpacking through Morocco: Day 1

Backpacking in the Trinity Alps, Shasta-Trinity National Forest, June 1992.

Deer Creek Valley

I had this custom made from lemonbrat on Etsy! At no extra charge from their base husky backpack. Elastic straps make it very adjustable, front pockets fit my phone and pack of gum, and inside I can squeeze a note or mini sketchpad, pens, eraser, and misc small things. I will be altering it to include her spots in felt soon! I love it and get lots of compliments! Smaller compartment than I am used to but I need to consolidate anyway.

Made by lemonbrat of Etsy or Lemonbrat.com! They were so accommodating, sweet and FAST! Couldn't be happier!

I'm turning into a dog freak who gets custom clothes and stuff in the likeness of their dog but I miss Diaz.

Totes making a custom collar for this too. <3

For real order one, I have already gotten so many compliments!
