I invested in a few new backpacking bags, but needed a storage solution. There are fancy backpack hangers you can buy, but I figured I could make something out of supplies I have on hand.
Version 2 worked, is much better. Made with scrap PVC and heavy gauge wire.

Backpacking 7/16-7/19 in the Olympics. Started at the Graves Creek trailhead on the Quinalt River, and got up to Enchanted Valley.
Pyrenees HRP 2011 Day 16: Ayous to Pombie. This cowherd drove his large herd of cattle through Gave de Bious. clanking loudly. One cow became separated and was chased by the cowdog, but to no avail. It refused to join the rest of the herd, and instead wandered on its own into the valley looking forlorn, wondering perhaps why it had behaved so arsey!
Taken on our backpacking trip to Hidden Pond December 13-15, 2013. With an average speed of 3mph, one of our fastest paces ever.
