Not quite the shot I had pictured in my mind.. I wanted it a little closer but none of those shots were really up to scratch and I really need to finish writing up my dissertation and revise blahblahblah. But next time..

Got to practice some back lighting techniques w/ the flash acting as a flare today.. I've seen so many really nice shots pointing toward the sun that I wanted to work on some as well (obviously w/ a flash instead). I think this technique will really come in handy in the future.

550 EX through 24" cheetah softbox 1/16 power camera right
430 EX II bare behind model camera left 1/32 power facing camera
Three perfume bottles set against my bedside spotlight. I didn't like the background, but cropping it out looked wrong, so I added a 'paint splatter' texture and moved it around until I had the colours where I wanted them. I erased the texture from the bottles and from the reflections, and now I am much happier with the result!

Pareciera que hay que volver a enseñar como ser gente a la gente. Porque digo esto. Por el simple hecho de que las cosas están cambiando, pero para peor. La gente no se respeta, a ti mismo en este momento alguien no te respeta y te basurea. La gente ya no ama, ni quiere, son solo cosas pasajeras, la amistad es una palabra con doble filo: por un lado esta esa amistad a prueba de balas y la otra amistad que prueba las balas. Estamos deshumanizándonos, como un ente pensante, como pareja, como familia, como comunidad y como mundo. Basta ya de esto y comencémonos a dar cuenta de que las cosas están mal.

I changed the closing of the base, now it's a little bit rounder and it looks more like the Kawasaki Rose.
I went to IKEA for some things and I saw these cheap led bars. I couldn't resist... I had a sudden idea, night lighting for planted tanks :) Think its cool.
