Worst case scenario for a film shooter is extreme backlighting. But when you are 1100 miles from home, you try and make the best of it. The Fuji Provia 100 worked fairly well along with a slight burst of fill in flash. The flash brought out the colors of BNSF GE C44-9W 4818 at the historic Raton, NM train station. Built in 1903 in typical Spanish Mission Revival style that the Santa Fe railroad used extensively.

Variation on a theme. I took quite a few shots of these flowers in a vase placed in front of my patio window. The sunlight was streaming in and it's becoming one of my fav places to photograph flowers.

She was very happy and having a good time with this photo shoot. Not sure how I caught this look except she turned quickly and this is what I caught.
