I don't usually like to put up new versions of old images, but I've broken my rule in this case. The previous version didn't give a sense of the scale of the building: it was just a crop of the top. This version, I hope, better conveys the height.

As promised yesterday, here is a closer view of the BMW CSL that was in the background of yesterday's shot, in the paddock on the Friday during a brief break in the early morning rain.

1965 BMW Isetta Type 300, powered by a one cylinder 236 cc engine, displayed against a background of Belgian number plates at Autoworld, Belgium’s national motor museum, in Brussels.

This 'bubble car’, built by BMW under licence from the Italian car maker Iso, was one of the few successful micro cars of the 1960s.

It's fairly rare for pelicans to be at Sheboygan's lakeshore, but I was lucky to be there with my camera when a flock flew in to rest for a little while. Here are seven of them, with a few gulls in the background :)

This is an outtake from the Woodland Park series. This is basically the same as #1 but shot from another angle without the barn in the background.

Oh No, Bees! Metropolitan Transportation Authority - MTA NYCT Subway R-68/R-68As layover for the weekend and longer, as seen at sunset on Saturday, January 8, 2022. The B Line was temporarily suspended due to crew shortages, leading to a large number of them sitting in Concourse Yard in the Bronx, New York. This facility also services the D Line, which can and will use these cars in rotation, but it's fun to see 6 Bs in a row as long as you are not allergic. The flyover track leads to the IRT Jerome Avenue Line, and the Kingsbridge Armory is in the background.

More or less as it came out -taken in full daylight but ended up with a nice dark background .

The rugged Scottish shoreline comes alive in this captivating black and white landscape scene, where an old croft ruin stands below castle ruins. The picture captures the dramatic contrast of the sea against the rugged coastline, with the grassy sloped cliffs looming in the background. The sky is painted with dramatic swirling clouds, adding to the enchanting atmosphere of the scene.

So called as, however long I 'tweaked', I couldn't get the three to work as cohesively as I wanted, they still seem to be isolated elements? Maybe Black Sabbath, loud, ain't the ideal editing accompaniment?
