My latest project, playing around creating artistic digitally painted background effects. Some I will use as backgrounds to nature subjects and wildlife. Not sure what to match this one with. I just liked the colors in it.
Remove the background from a Packshot - utilizing a contrasty help layer - and make a pure white one instead. Of cource you need to make a packshot with a bright background in the first place :-) This is more accurate then the Select-Subject procedure. Please note, that the number of pixels for contracting and feathering as well as the number of clicks with the paint bucktet on the image layer may vary according to your image resolution etc. To do this you must naturally manage lighting properly and perhaps do a bit of pre-editing in your RAW converter before opening it in Photoshop. This image is not artwork - it's just a packshot for ebay and such :-)
