This week's photo has quite a humorous tale. While capturing a picturesque scene of seagulls soaring in the sky, with a child feeding them chips, I thought it couldn't get any better with the beautiful clouds as the backdrop. As I clicked the shutter, there came an unexpected twist – a bird's unfortunate gift landed right on my face. The odds of a bird pooping on you is about one in five million chance apparently! So despite the mishap, I decided to keep the photo, embracing the saying "luck is on my side."

Some of my photos from my stream redone to the aspect ratio of the ipod touch and iphone. These are free, so feel free to download them if you like.

Fall Foliage Background

One of Stanley Park's beautiful trees against sunset-coloured clouds

This great blue heron had just submerged itself in the water, while fishing. It came up empty “beaked” and proceeded to to vigorously shake itself dry, thus its ruffled feathers, by darkening the background post editing I think I brought out its distinctive blue color.

My favorite Sonic Character. <3

This will look best with the skin color set to maroon.

I'm in a very creative and inspired 'state' of mind at the moment, tee hee.

I really had fun with these in Studio Indigo.

LYSIANTHUS , unfurling in front of your eyes.

Originating in the West Indies, Mexico, and Central and South America, the flower is known botanically as Eustoma grandiflorum.

The common name comes from the Greek words lysis, meaning 'dissolution' and anthos, meaning 'flower'.

Colours include white, light and dark pink, lavender and deep purple. Double and single-flower varieties exist.
