This is my first attempt at a looping motion background. I plan to use this as a 'Welcome Slide.' The splice is actually near the middle of the video. I cut the video in half, and put the second half first. Then I tried to find similar frames in the middle to splice the two halves together. So the last frame of this video, was actually shot just prior to the first.
This video is available for use in Christian Church Worship Ministries, all other uses are prohibited without permission.
Numerous stages involved. Step 1. Acrylics on watercolour paper. Water applied to paper also. Salt applied.

Ive not done any work on this for about 2 weeks but thinking about my last critique from Karen I’ve started to think about backgrounds and what can be seen through the spaces. This is just a simple start to get me back in the flow. A solid watercolour background, a background using my cut piece as a stencil and an old piece of FME on soluble fabric just for something to lay over the backgrounds.
I normally set my key light to channel 1, Rim or fill light on two and background on channel 3.
That way I can always switch back to a particular channel to see if it fits the look I'm after and adjust accordingly.
So, this is a channel 3 shot.

Working on a background, trying to use up some of my bits and pieces. Will have to bring in another colour or off to buy more green. Or perhaps l could put some mirror in there to fill in!l do enjoy playing with my mosaics,lol
