Stamped the the flower, flower block, circles, stars, numbers and teenager in blue and lime green. Added black pen doodles and outlines. Made a little tag, distressed edges in blue stamped in green and added black pen doodles. Finished off with ribbon and mounted with foam to give dimension.
I have never done a journal or altered book & a good friend of mine is hosting a monthly journal calendar share. I decided to give it a try. I have been wanting to do a journal like this for a while now.
This is the start of my June page. It doesn't even bother me that I am starting in June. I painted the pages these colors because it reminds me what I am seeing outside. The blue sky, the green grass.

My dog Molly. Lighting used was a White Lightning Ultra 1800 with 47" Octabox and two Alien bees B800 for background lights. Triggered with Cybersyncs.

In my Flickr photostream, you'll find pictures of a gerbra. Months ago, I bought that in order to experiment with shooting it. When I brought it home, my wife thought it was for her! This time, when I bought this flower, I bought 2 - one for me (for shooting) and one for her. Everyone is happy!
