An abstract blue and green background that can be used as a desktop background or twitter background.
Stamped the the flower, flower block, circles, stars, numbers and teenager in blue and lime green. Added black pen doodles and outlines. Made a little tag, distressed edges in blue stamped in green and added black pen doodles. Finished off with ribbon and mounted with foam to give dimension.
I did this last night and then saw the video Jennifer did that used exactly the same technique! (versamark then chalked) Great minds- LOL :-)
The background stamp is cleardesigns Joy borders- it is actually a Christmas stamp but I thought it worked well with the shape of the flowers in the patterened paper (my minds eye). Thank you is from cleardesign thankyou messages.

Here's how I made the background for my Mater shot. I did this in my kitchen which isn't very big so I was limited as to where I could place the flash.
Ideally I'd like to have placed it further away from the glasses but as I had to climb over two chairs each time I wanted to get to it (one of which had the cars on it) I settled for this :)
The flash has a Honl grid on it and a green gel. The grid was to stop too much light spilling onto the wall but seeing how out of focus it was I don't think it was really needed.

In my Flickr photostream, you'll find pictures of a gerbra. Months ago, I bought that in order to experiment with shooting it. When I brought it home, my wife thought it was for her! This time, when I bought this flower, I bought 2 - one for me (for shooting) and one for her. Everyone is happy!
