I chose the make a large painting because I usually stay as far away from them as I can. But instead of layering warm on cold, I flipped it. I like cool colors better.

The subject was crawling on a glass table (hence the reflection). I was surprised to see the background after the shot. It was produced from the reflection of a red box behind the subject and a blue object under the table.
