The layout artist makes a background drawing for the background of each scene. The layout artist also makes rough sketches of the characters to show the animators what size the characters should be. The layouts are transferred to illustration board, and are painted by the background artist. The background artists help develop the mood and color harmony of the entire picture.

Cropped from the background of a larger photo, I'm afraid this is the best I can do for a photo of this. It had sat there for years and I kept meaning to take a photo but every time I passed either it was in deep shadow or a car was parked across the driveway in front of it, and I've just learned it was taken away last week. I can't remember the entire registration but I do recall it was Exxx BBB, and the condition seemed to be a mixture of intentional rat look coupled with dilapidation from lack of use, so I fear it has departed for scrapping.

I'm slowly catching up on my Single Girl, and it's time to cut some background pieces! These are the three options, from left to right:
-Nubby 100% linen in brown
-Carolina Chambray in black
-Kona Cotton in stone
To me, the linen and chambray get extra points for being soft. Linen gets docked points for being harder to work with, especially with curves. What would you pick?

Most of the time people take pictures with some unwanted things, that ruin the beauty of that picture. People wish something according to their own desire, in these cases photoshop has different tools and tricks to have the images in preferred background.
Another card using the Design Block Birthday stamp. First I masked over a couple of the sayings and inked with Versamark, removed the masks and stamped on white cardstock, then heat embossed. Then I inked the sayings I had masked before in coloured ink, used my stamp-a-ma-jig and restamped the image. Added some patterned paper, lace and flowers to finish it off.
