Animation backgrounds, commissioned by Carburadores, used in a short animated film for SNA/Codesser.
The bicycle is a classic, the grid is quite easy to find, the background... :-) Overall sometime I forgot how difficult is to corretly frame an image with the Diana viewfinder...
Original shot taken with a Diana F (the real one, not the "+"), 4x4 format on Kodak T-Max 400 asa Black and white film, almost no post processing, just scanned.
Stone floor textures from churches around the Sea of Galilee. Please feel free to use but don't claim as your own.
This is only the second photo I've edited (aside from some cropping) so far out of my New Orleans set. Try it out with the black background.

MY TOP 4:
1. Coronation Anna. I think she has the best quality of all the LE Anna dolls that have been released. Her eyes are more of a teal-blue tone, her make up and hairstyle is not 100% movie accurate, but her dress really was (before I added more gems to it). Her skin is not shiny, which is good and she's got random freckles that look more natural. The box background has a very nice illustration and the colors combined with the doll go very well. When I see this doll I totally feel that she resembles happiness which probably is another reason why I prefer her. I give her 5/5 stars
2. Frozen Fever Anna.
This doll surprised me, I really wasn't expecting that good amount of quality. Even if I hate tinsel hair on dolls, this one doesn't seem to bother me at all. They restyled her hair better than the coronation, but at the same time her make up seems more natural, the colors more true to the original character. Even the eyes are the right blue tone. So she's exactly the anna you see in the movie and in the short. The dress is full of embroidery with different rhinestones. Everything seems to be done in the correct way and it was the best choice not to give her shiny skin like the previous one. Coronation and FF Annas are looking at the same side and I don't see a big difference in their skin tone. I give this doll 5/5 stars.
3. Snow Gear Anna.
I think she was underrated when she came out. I can't deny she was my second favorite before receiving the FF Anna doll. But probably the dark tones in her dress make her look a little off next to the others. Her make up is great, probably she's not as pale as the FF anna, but still has a similar skin tone to the others and looks exactly like the snow gear anna from the movie. She's looking to her left which is different to the FF and coronation dolls and also I have to say that she has the best braids even when they are not 100% movie accurate. The outfit has quality fabrics and I must say that the background of this doll is probably one of my favorites. It doesn't look blurry and is very appropriate to the scene. I give her 5/5 stars.
4. Summer Anna. This doll was totally unexpected when she came out. I was waiting for the FF doll and honestly to see her was a big surprise. I really think disney could have done it better but she's not a big disappointment to me. I can't deny that probably I unlike more things about her, but still think it was a good idea to give us an anna with that outfit. Ok, so the things I don't like about the doll are the tinsel, thicker braids, the fabric of the skirt, the shiny skin, the blurry background and the greenish boots that are supposed to look like a solid green tone but instead give more of a cheap finish to it. You see, those are a lot of things lol. But in the other hand, I really prefer the box design compared to the snow gear anna and coronation. It is more colorful, which was a great choice. Also, the bodice is very movie accurate and to me it was done the way it should have, so no complaints there. The thicker braids are not my favs but I will admit that it must have been hard to use anna's hair to secure them instead of a rubber band. And the last things I like about this doll are the different embroidery design in the skirt and shirt. I give this anna doll 3/5 stars.
