Skyraider F-AZDP, with damaged wing, turns in to land after incident which lead to the loss of Mustang D-FBBD “Big Beautiful Doll” at the 2011 Flying Legends Air Show, Duxford.
The pilot of the Skyraider managed to land safely and the Mustang pilot was able to bail out before the aircraft crashed into a nearby field. Both pilots were, thankfully, unharmed.

A day later a Douglas AD4-N Skyraider 124143 RM-205 (F-AZDP) smashed of the tail section of the P-51 “Big Beautiful Doll”.
The P51 crashed, pilot survived The skyraider landed safely missing a piece of its right wing.
