Pictured in September 2011. This Skyraider had an unfortunate mid-air collision during Flying Legends 2011. The starboard wing received damage as the Skyraider hit the P-51 "Big Beautiful Doll" , that aircraft was written off and the pilot parachuted to safety as the Skyraider landed bruised and battered.

Tellabration in Pine was held on Saturday, 11/22/08, produced and MCed by Don Doyle for the ninth year in a row. This year's tellers included Dorothy Daniels Anderson, Kindra Gayle, Dustin Loehr, Vic McCraw, Ricardo Provencio, and Liz Warren.

Tellabration in Pine was presented by the DPS Quilt Angels Chapter of the Arizona Quilter Guild, making children's trauma quilts for Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) officers to carry in their patrol cars to give to children as needed and quilts to support a variety of other community services. Proceeds from this year's Tellabration in Pine were donated to the Pine Strawberry Food Bank. For more information about the DPS Quilt Angels, please contact Willene Smith at 928-476-3587 or e-mail at quiltrladydps@msn.com.

It was a wonderful community gathering for dinner and an extraordinary storytelling concert at the Pine Community Center Cultural Hall in Pine, AZ. For more information about Tellabration around the world, visit http://www.tellabration.org/ or the National Storytelling Network (NSN).
