For the gallery xhoch4, AxelVoid developed a complete new body of work artwork: one week before the exhibition opening, he entered the gallery. In luggage his bags: paint and brushes. Mediocre is the first of a series of works, it documents the everyday life of a 22 year old citizen of Ingolstadt chosen randomly---Nicole Burnett.

Nicole was born in Rosenheim, to Polish parents. She moved several times in her childhood, to places such as Nordhausen, Fulda, and Lake Park, Georgia (USA). At the age of 15 she moved to Ingolstadt with her mother and stepfather. One year later she began living alone intermediately, until today. Currently she shares apartment with her boyfriend (Bene) and works as a barista, bartender and cook.

This show invites the spectator to reflect about an existentialist point of view in life, empathizing with Nicole's context.

Visible is the upper body of a man, over which the Latin phrase "Homo Homini Lupus", "Man is a wolf to man" from the comedy "Stupid Foolish Thing" of the Roman poet Titus Maccius Plautus is written in white letters. The sentence became known through the English philosopher Thomas Hobbes, who used it in his state-philosophical work "Leviathan" to describe the human quest for power.

ALEX VOID | Nessuno, 2014

16X8mt, acrilici e spray su edificio privato, Ostiense – Roma
