I think this one is a basket flower! I took the photo around sunset at a neighborhood park in Harker Heights, TX.
My awesome friend, Tabitha, thought this idea up back sometime in January. She threw the idea out there on Facebook, then she planned it all out, reserved the Boutique Photo Loft for us to use and had everything scheduled last Spring- before the start of our faire season. Then the models (all of whom we know from faire) set about making their outfits, wigs, and settling on their makeup ideas.
There were four of us photographers- Ivan (who let me use his lenses!), Brian, and Allen. We took turns with the models, each of us in our own "areas" of the photo loft. These are my photos- of course- and I'm uploading them here for easier sharing than over on Facebook.
Some of the hair and makeup was done by the models themselves and some by Amber Wuttke and Deanna Roberts. (and Amber and Deanna helped a bit even on the ladies who did their own makeup and hair).
This isn't as clear as I normally post but those wing vortices at touch-down are incredible!! This is Delta Connection 5705 from New York JFK International Airport (JFK). Embraer 175LR.

You can see the original red color of that section of the cab. Plus all the holes I had to patch from security bars.
