One of the very first photos I took with my very first DSLR, a Canon Rebel t5i, on Jan. 31, 2015.

Photographed in Pt. Fermin Park, in San Pedro, CA, about 10 minutes from where I live, and a favored spot for me to race down to the point to shoot a sunrise in winter.

Newly processed 05-28-20. I didn't start taking 3 exposure AEB for HDR processing until later that year, but I did make some early attempts and my images were way too oversaturated in the beginning.

Looking out from the exquisite Alhambra, Granada, Spain

Not photoshopped, this is a genuine untouched photo from my recent cruise around the Caldera.

Shot for Macro Mondays #BackInTheDay theme. When I was first got into music, this was the main medium for music. I remember spending hours recording the radio and making my own mix tapes. I don't miss that process.

Thanks for viewing and HMM!

every year birds (mostly black redstarts, Phoenicurus ochruros) build their nests under our carport, a safe space from all cats around, including our own. it is pretty awesome to see them growing, getting fed and one day, all are disappear.

this young fellow sat behind my car and kept starring at me as if he waited until i finished taking some pictures and then, not yet able to fly, hopped away towards his mother. its other four siblings already seem to have flown away, this one needed a little extra time to learn it - 30min after this photo, it took off and was gone too :)

A really cool moth that I photographed in Maryland.

No need to fly to Paris or Rome when you live in NYC . . . just visit the JP Morgan Library!

Yesterday I was looking at another user's awesome owl photos and t has been months since I've seen/heard any owls. So... I said to myself "it would be so awesome if I could just go outside and photograph an owl" I kid you not, around 3 am I hear a few deep owl hoots right across the street! I was so excited I could barely hold the camera straight :-) Thank you universe.

This weekend it snowed almost non stop and the temperatures are dropping. We went for a snowshoe to one of our local waterfalls to day. We had to take turns breaking the trail because the snow was so deep and it was a real workout. However, the ice at the falls was awesome to see. Well worth the trek in. The whole afternoon was awesome.
