Preserved Maidstone & District 5385 (LKP 385P) an Alexander bodied Ailsa B55-10 was a welcome sight at the South East Bus Festival held at Detling on April 1st 2017.

I really needed a panoramic shot to take in the full awesomeness of this scene, but damn. What a fricken lovely end to the day!

awesome veggie soup:
throw a bunch of random veggies into a pot of water.
make sure to use lots of garlic.
no need for nicely cutting the veggies, just wash them, cut in chunks and throw them in. i just smashed the garlic with my knife blade and threw them in, skin and all.
leave all the skins on. you can even throw in some peelings from whatever other veggies you've used that day.
add some salt and pepper to taste. i threw in some haldi, a couple bay leaves, and some basil too.
simmer it for about an hour, mash up what's left of the veggies, then strain it.
i added some pasta, fresh zucchini and bell peppers to make a meal of it, but you can use it for just about anything that requires veggie broth.

Wandering the streets we came across this shop... I am not sure I was allowed to take photos in here, but I didn't ask, just got low and ran of a few quick ones before they could yell at me...
But what a store.. these tables and chairs are straight out of Aliens and Predators.. all made out of scrap steel, motor parts and tools, extremely well put together.. This would be great to have.. I could just imagine someone's grand kids having nightmares over these.. ...
