Awesome barista, Ryan can be found at Cafe Dulce in Little Tokyo and Andante Coffee Roasters in Mid City.
I so do love to photograph kids. They're awesome. This group was the most close knit bunch I've seen graduate from that preschool. They were there for each other during each one's photos, making faces at each other and getting each other to laugh and smile (which, of course, made my job a piece of cake). Of course it doesn't hurt that I substitute at the school a little so they knew me and were comfortable, but really, I owe all this and the other great shots to their teacher, Mrs Pam. :)
on an awesome table
just sayin'
This doesn't EXACTLY match the week four theme for my 52 weeks in 2013 group, but it's close. ;-)

Orpheus and I went back to the waterfront yesterday to see if we could spot the owl and other wildlife again, and as can be seen, we were successful. :)
This was as close as we got to the owl, makes me want that 100-400mm even more... ;)
Check out Miss G playing with the super cool dinner set - meatballs, yum!
Thank you Cybil - it's fantastic, we love it all!!!
We were in the mood for a road trip so we decided to check out the Beartooth Highway (Highway 212) in SW Montana, very close to Yellowstone National Park. I was there once many many years ago and was caught in a bad thunderstorm at the top. I remembered it was beautiful country and have always wanted to go back. We got an early start, cut through Yellowstone and then headed up to the pass. Beautiful day, drive, scenery and very little traffic, mostly motorcycles. The road was winding but not too bad at all. Even at the end of July there were snow patches as we wound our way up to the pass. We took some short walks at the pass (10,980 feet above sea level) and just soaked up the sun. We saw storm clouds starting to form so we decided to slowly head back to Yellowstone and our camp site. For travel planning purposes - this road is open seasonally, usually for about 4 months in the summer. There are a number of campgrounds on the highway but no tent camping is allowed due to the high bear population. Bummer. This trip is definitely worth it!
I took these photos at the end of July 2019.

Love this orange Exige, such a fun little car! Sitting between a couple of other colourful characters too.
Remembering #293,839,298. I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention, Duck Tales was on and they finally played the scene from the opening where Scrooge and the evil guy scramble across a disintegrating floor. It was awesome...also I'm pretty sure my controller was broken.
