It was exceptionally clear last night. The moon was just begging for attention, even though half of it was still rather shy.
All the colors of the
world should be
Lovin' each other wholeheartedly
Yes, it's all right
Take my message to your brother
And tell him twice
Spread the word and try
to teach the man
Who's hating his brother,
When hate won't do, ooh
'Cause we're all the same,
yes the blood inside of me
is inside of you
You had me several years ago when I was still quite naive
Well you said that we made such a pretty pair
And that you would never leave
But you gave away the things you loved and one of them was me
I had some dreams, they were clouds in my coffee
Clouds in my coffee, and...
Finaly I got the chance to capture the train that brings my girlfriend to work and safely back :) I do love long time exposures and motion. Have a perfect day!

Let me tell you 'bout the birds and the bees
and the flowers and the trees,
the moon up above, and the thing called love.
A grasshopper I came upon in Fort Negley in Nashville, TN. I shot this with my 100 macro, a lens which I just love. This was a hand-held shot on a beautiful day.

Pompano Beach Fishing Pier, Pompano Beach, FL
This is the one shot from Saturday’s early morning photo shoot that survived my deleting spree. I don’t particularly like it, but it’s the best I got and the only one that didn’t go straight to the bin. I resisted my first impulse to just format the whole CF card without even downloading the images to my PC, but once on the computer I still didn’t like them one bit.
After driving around Friday evening on Key Biscayne and not taking a single shot because all looked like the “boring same old” to me I thought checking out a new shooting location might help. So I got up at 6:00 am on Saturday to drive to Pompano Beach and shoot the sunrise at the Hillsboro Lighthouse. Well that was the plan. I got there as dawn was breaking; it was stormy (almost knocked the car door off the hinges) and overcast and I didn’t like it at all. I couldn’t be bothered taking the camera out of the car, let alone walk along the beach to the lighthouse.
On the way to the lighthouse I had passed a sign pointing to the fishing pier, so I decided to go there. After all I got up at 6:00 to take some photos, right? I didn’t do much better there, but at least I took the camera and tripod out of the car. The conch stayed in the trunk. And after feeding the parking meter a few quarters I wandered off to the beach. I took 100+ shots before and after sunrise but one pier starts looking like the other to me, although they are different if you look closely.
I might go back there once I feel like taking photos again. Right now I can’t be bothered and for you that means “more stuff from the archives”. I still have 267 photos of Maya, the Jaguar cub… LOL).
