i wanted to do something for breast cancer awareness month... so this is that! my band front and i raised over $200 for the breast cancer awareness foundation! i was so proud! haha! and I'm taking an idea from my friend... Smashley! where you post one photo a day...hehe we will see how this works... :]

A traffic awareness drive was observed by Udgam School from November 6th to 20th. It began with taking the Preschool students for a visit to Traffic Park where they learnt all the rules and regulations related to traffic and also rode bicycles in keeping with the rules and signals.
The senior school students took this campaign to a different level by involving common public in the drive. Students of Class 10 formed a human chain and carried placards and chanted slogans that were related to traffic awareness. They stopped cars on the road in front of the Thaltej School and spoke to people about traffic rules and regulations which even encompassed ‘misuse of mobile phones during driving’, ‘lack of safety belts’, ’not wearing helmets’ and other issues. They even took a pledge to abide by traffic rules and create traffic awareness. In addition students ofClass 9 and 11 made powerpoint presentations and demonstrated to other classes about the importance of following traffic rules.
"Evolution of a healthy lifestyle". I'm not sure how porn stars, prostitutes or swingers would feel about that first step, being compared to monkeys. Actually, it's kind of offensive to anyone with the occasional vice, which is pretty much all of us. Ah well...
This image is part of my ongoing exploration of natural spaces through arranging fallen pieces into mandalas or "maps of the universe". The photographs are all multiple exposures that mesh my own being with the very materials I used to create the earth work. I'd like to thank Zachary for his help creating and photographing this piece.
I dedicate this image to Kristi Cook Chavez, and all the Men & Women in the World who are currently facing the hardship that comes with cancer.
Kristi, you are an amazing Woman. A mother to all who walk into your life and a friend to all you bring smiles to. You give so much of yourself to the people around you, and I wanted to let you know that there's not a moment that I'm with you that I don't appreciate.
