Seen at a local thrift store. It's unusual to find an SLR on their shelves. This is a budget K-mount model made for Sears by Ricoh.
I was tempted, but I already have a very similar Ricoh CR-5 (a flea market find), so I left this kit for someone else.

The structure of this ride is about 100 years old (check out this picture from the 1920s-30s).
The neon was likely added sometime between the 30s-40s by architect Richard L. Crowther, who was brought in post-depression to help modernize the look of the park.
