The structure of this ride is about 100 years old (check out this picture from the 1920s-30s).
The neon was likely added sometime between the 30s-40s by architect Richard L. Crowther, who was brought in post-depression to help modernize the look of the park.
The Auto Union 1000 was a compact front-wheel-drive automobile manufactured by Auto Union GmbH between 1958 and 1965.

This shot was taken at the Marconi Automotive Museum, located in Tustin, California. Museum gives the opportunity to its visitors to admire an incredible collection of historic and high-performance classic cars. So I'm sitting in a restaurant at a hotel in Hanna, Alberta, on my way home from a wonderful day trip to eastern Alberta and western Saskatchewan. I can't transfer any of my pics because I don't have my card reader with me....Hopefully I'll have some keepers.
It was an absolutely beautiful sunny and warm day today which might be our last for a while. A snowstorm is expected tomorrow with my home area in Red Deer expecting 5 to 10 cm of the white stuff.
