Mattie is an 8 week old Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix that my family and I adopted from a shelter in Lakeland. She's very intelligent and sweet, but has a lot of energy. My dad taught her to sit within 5 minutes.
Dangerous but delish! Battered chicken fillet topped with bacon, pasta sauce and 200 kgs of melted cheddar cheese, served with chips and salad. Seems harder to find these done the right way around Melbourne. This was enjoyed in Kyneton, a small town about an hour northwest of Melbourne.
Aussie species orchid. Belongs to my friend Elena a few houses down from us.
Elena and I carried it to her car and very carefully put it in.
Elena is putting it in an orchid show and I hope she gets something for it.
There are about 12 stems with about 40 to 50 flowers on each stem ... do the math, that's a lot of flowers AND they are perfumed too.
The Mazda MX-5 Club of WA held its first (January) monthly cruise for 2016. Bob Sharpe, cruise leader and organiser took us from Midland up through the hills and back ending at Roco McGlashan's workshop where he is constructing his 1000mph jet driven land speed record maker.

Skimo and I were over at my neighbor's feeding Harley while they are away this week. And on our way back I saw what I thought, much to my dismay, was a big green bug. I've had about enough with bugs lately. Anyways upon further inspection, I discovered it was not a bug but a little treefrog hitching a ride on my ausky! Luckily I brought my camera with me. He was a cute little guy. Skimo didn't seem to mind giving him a ride either. ;P
