One of the fun parts of traveling to anoter office is that you don't
know where anything is, or how things work.
I wanted my traditional after-lunch coffee, but didn't see any brewed
coffee. I saw this machine, but couldn't find the cups. After a bit
of searching, I found this one in the dishwaher. It was a little
small, but it was a cup.
Unfortunately the smallest cup of coffee the machine produces is 8oz.
This is the result.
Fortunately the coffee in the cup tasted good. It's much better than
the machines in Mountain View. Apparently it's calibrated
frequently... and the way it brews reminds me a bit of the Clover
instea of traditional drip.
The evening sky has been so pretty the last few days. It was so nice tonight I didn't mind staying late on a Saturday for a stupid reason.

I looked out of my kitchen window to see this on top of a bungalow at the bottom of the garden. Looks like the bungalow is growing.
Took a few pictures of the men at work, trying out my new camera, really.

Hey Guys! Been a big fan and wearer of Utilikilts for many years. Nearly every man in our family now owns at least one! Here's some pics for you! Looking forward to buying my first tuxedo kilt soon for orchestra performances!
Yum Yum tested her Cambodian wonders on me today to assist with the swift removal of a stuffy nose + chest.
I've been gone to long but have many pictures to post. See you all soon!
last night was store inventory. They had some of their best counters in our department, like this guy on the right--he was AWESOME. He didn't make many mistakes, even if the mistakes were ours (stocking error, etc.)
At work we had nothing to do--no stock to put up, no customers to help--so we were goofing around talking about an imaginary character named "Dr. Brandon" based on the ideas of our assistant manager Brandon. It was really hilarious.
Karst is a Canadian-born author and dietician who has written books on healthy fats and metabolic syndrome, and she came and talked at my store last night on essential fatty acids.
She had some excellent information, like "Don't cook with extra virgin olive oil; it should be used as a condiment." She also advocates cooking with coconut oil or ghee instead, because it does not get rancid at high temps. Go, Karlene! It's what I've been telling people for a while now.
I've already read her older book on healthy fats, but I think I need to find her new book on Metabolic Syndrome X. It sounds interesting.
