In ReykjavÃk, there is a small stone piece of a facade that was present during the nuclear blast in Hiroshima. It was donated to ReykjavÃk in 1991 as a pledge to peace.
This is a series of rubbings of the same stone.

The rocker frame is made with 4 inch White Canadian Cedar Logs
Natural Cedar is a creamy white color that blends with any dcor.
Naturally resistant to rot and insect damage.
Skichairs do not have to be treated if left outside.
All Cedar weathers gracefully to a silvery grey patina when left untreated!
Cedar may be preserved by adding a sealer that has a UV inhibitor.
Sealer can be purchase at most hardware stores and applied by spraying.
May be stained to match dcor with most exterior wood sealants.
Cedar logs are subject to a natural process called checking

Since the stone is white and difficult to photograph, I decided to just do a rubbing instead.
Couldn't resist this set when I spotted them today. I have quite a bit of the pointy starburst gold design glassware but this is the first "atomic" design I have found. The sugar is perfect, the creamer has fade to the gold at the back. (isn't there always???....lol)
