I think this was the third or fourth flower on my Astrophytum myriostigma this year? either way, it seems to have gone a bit more pink than the bright yellow flower I had at the beginning of this year. (This is just a standard A. myriostigma, not a hybrid)

Astrophytum ornatum, also called bishop's cap, is endemic to the Central Plateau of Mexico. It is the largest and tallest species of Astrophytum.

It flowers throughout the summer, flowers are seven to eight centimeters long in canary yellow.
