This succulent is called Astrophytum asterias. It has a lot of nick names too. Star cactus, Sanddollar and Star Peyote. This cactus is originally from Texas. It is an endangered species of succulent. It is illegal to dig them up from their native soil. If you get one of these please make sure it was started from seed.
