I'm always left to wonder why is it that I was saddled with this particular affliction...migraines. I mean damn -- growing up an asthmatic was bad enough (laughing too hard or exerting myself too much would always end in a fit of wheezing and coughing)!! As soon as I feel I've conquered one ailment (its been centuries since my last attack, but my inhaler is always around...just in case!), here comes another one to take its place!
I felt like sh*t all day today. I stayed in bed all day curled up in a fetal position and even shed a few tears at one point as the pain was completely unbearable! Aspirin, ice cold water, my trusty ice-pack and even ice-cream were all part of my arsenal. I'm actually surprised that I'm able to sit up and share this with you right now as the migraine monster is still tap dancing on my brain stem! But...such is life. I lived through asthma and I will bop and weave and kick the migraine monster's ass to fight another day! :o)

Edible Parts: Flowers; Fruit.
Edible Uses: Coloring; Tea.
Fruit - raw or cooked. The flavor of the raw fruit is not acceptable to many tastes, though when cooked it makes delicious jams, preserves, pies and so forth. It can be used fresh or dried, the dried fruit being less bitter. The fruit is used to add flavor and color to preserves, jams, pies, sauces, chutneys etc., it is also often used to make wine. The fruit is about 8mm in diameter and is borne in large clusters. Some caution is advised, see the notes below on toxicity. Flowers - raw or cooked. They can also be dried for later use. The flowers are crisp and somewhat juicy, they have an aromatic smell and flavor and are delicious raw as a refreshing snack on a summers day, though look out for the insects. The flowers are used to add a muscatel flavor to stewed fruits, jellies and jams (especially gooseberry jam). They are often used to make a sparkling wine. A sweet tea is made from the dried flowers. The leaves are used to impart a green coloring to oils and fats.
CAUTION: The leaves and stems are poisonous. The fruit of many species (although no records have been seen for this species) has been known to cause stomach upsets to some people. Any toxin the fruit might contain is liable to be of very low toxicity and is destroyed when the fruit is cooked.
MEDICINAL USES: Anti-inflammatory; Aperient; Diaphoretic; Diuretic; Emetic; Emollient; Expectorant; Galactogogue; Hemostatic; Laxative; Ophthalmic; Purgative; Salve; Stimulant.
Elder has a very long history of household use as a medicinal herb and is also much used by herbalists. The plant has been called 'the medicine chest of country people'. The flowers are the main part used in modern herbalism, though all parts of the plant have been used at times. Stimulant. The inner bark is collected from young trees in the autumn and is best sun-dried. It is diuretic, a strong purgative and in large doses emetic. It is used in the treatment of constipation and arthritic conditions. An emollient ointment is made from the green inner bark. The leaves can be used both fresh or dry. For drying, they are harvested in periods of fine weather during June and July. The leaves are purgative, but are more nauseous than the bark. They are also diaphoretic, diuretic, expectorant and hemostatic. The juice is said to be a good treatment for inflamed eyes. An ointment made from the leaves is emollient and is used in the treatment of bruises, sprains, chilblains, wounds etc.. The fresh flowers are used in the distillation of 'Elder Flower Water'. The flowers can be preserved with salt to make them available for distillation later in the season. The water is mildly astringent and a gentle stimulant. It is mainly used as a vehicle for eye and skin lotions. The dried flowers are diaphoretic, diuretic, expectorant, galactogogue and pectoral. An infusion is very effective in the treatment of chest complaints and is also used to bathe inflamed eyes. The infusion is also a very good spring tonic and blood cleanser. Externally, the flowers are used in poultices to ease pain and abate inflammation. Used as an ointment, it treats chilblains, burns, wounds, scalds etc.. The fruit is depurative, weakly diaphoretic and gently laxative. A tea made from the dried berries is said to be a good remedy for colic and diarrhea. The fruit is widely used for making wines, preserves etc., and these are said to retain the medicinal properties of the fruit. The pith of young stems is used in treating burns and scalds. The root is no longer used in herbal medicine but it formerly had a high reputation as an emetic and purgative that was very effective against dropsy. A homeopathic remedy is made from the fresh inner bark of young branches. It relieves asthmatic symptoms and spurious croup in children. The German Commission E Monographs, a therapeutic guide to herbal medicine, approve Sambucus nigra for cough and bronchitis, fevers and colds
OTHER USES: Compost; Cosmetic; Dye; Fungicide; Hedge; Hedge; Insecticide; Litmus; Microscope; Musical; Pioneer; Pipes; Repellent; Wood.
The plant is a valuable addition to the compost heap, its flowers are an alternative ingredient of 'QR' herbal compost activator and the roots of the plant improve fermentation of the compost heap when growing nearby. The leaves are used as an insect repellent, very effective when rubbed on the skin though they do impart their own unique fragrance. They can be powdered and placed amongst plants to act as a deterrent, or made into a spray when they act as an insecticide. This is prepared by boiling 3 - 4 handfuls of leaves in a liter of water, then straining and allowing to cool before applying. Effective against many insects, it also treats various fungal infections such as leaf rot and powdery mildew. The dried flowering shoots are used to repel insects, rodents etc.. The flowers are used in skin lotions, oils and ointments. Tolerant of salt-laden gales, this species can be grown as a shelter hedge in exposed maritime areas, it is rather bare in the winter though. This is an excellent pioneer species to use when re-establishing woodlands. It is very tough and wind-resistant, grows quickly and provides shelter for longer-lived and taller woodland species to establish. It will generally maintain itself in the developing woodland, though usually in the sunnier positions. A dye is obtained from the fruit and the bark. The bark of older branches and the root have been used as an ingredient in dyeing black. A green dye is obtained from the leaves when alum is used as a mordant. The berries yield various shades of blue and purple dyes. They have also been used as a hair dye, turning the hair black. The blue coloring matter from the fruit can be used as a litmus to test if something is acid or alkaline. It turns green in an alkaline solution and red in an acid solution. The pith in the stems of young branches pushes out easily and the hollow stems thus made have been used as pipes for blowing air into a fire. They can also be made into musical instruments. The pith of the wood is used for making microscope slides and also for treating burns and scalds. The mature wood is white and fine-grained. It is easily cut and polishes well. Valued highly by carpenters, it has been used for making skewers, mathematical instruments, toys etc..

Albuteman speaks with Marshall King, a patient in the Pediatric Inpatient Ward at Madigan Healthcare System during a visit Nov. 29. Albuteman is the asthma superhero named for the important asthma medication, Albuterol. It was created in 1993 by an Army pediatrician who was looking for ways to help young patients get excited about caring for their asthma.
“As asthma continues to be a primary cause of morbidity and mortality in the pediatric population, affecting approximately 7 percent of children younger than 17 years of age, understanding those triggering causes of an asthma attack and learning how best to act to avoid worsening asthmatic disease has become a crucial educational milestone for children diagnosed with asthma and their parents,” said Col. Frank Wood, a Madigan pediatrician.
For information on pediatric asthma, parents are encouraged to visit the Pediatric Clinic at Madigan or make an appointment with their child’s provider. For more information on Albuteman and his many adventures, please contact the Pediatric Inpatient Ward. Thomas Bradbury Jr./Madigan Healthcare System

The Hamas terror organization published a video with a sign of life from Yosef Haim Ohana and Elkana Bohbot who were abducted on October 7th, 2023, and have been held hostage for 535 days.
The Ohana and Bohbot families authorized the publication of the video. In the Hamas propaganda video, the two attack the government and call on released hostages to pressure the government to make a deal for their release.
Elkana's family stated: "For 535 days, Elkana has been in an ongoing hell. The video shows he is in poor condition, having lost a significant amount of weight due to persistent starvation. He suffers from skin and breathing problems in addition to being asthmatic, and has not seen daylight for almost a year and a half!"
They added: "This video is further proof that Elkana must return home to his family, to his wife Rivka and his son Ra'am David. Elkana is crying out for help, begging us not to forget him in the tunnel hell.
The family pleaded: "We appeal and plead with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Trump - please, imagine this is your son, the father of your grandchild, waiting to see daylight, hearing IDF bombs, and living in constant fear for his life.
"Every day Ra'am asks about his father. When will we be able to tell him his father is coming home? This child too trapped in a dark tunnel and in captivity."
They concluded: "The video is a sign of life, but we want Elkana alive at home and the return of everyone! It's time to end the suffering not only of the families but of an entire nation that wants them home."

Last month, Yosef Haim's aunt, Hannah Mastronov told Ynet that the family received an indication that he is alive. Mastronov said that the information was received after a recent hostage release. "We have a clear indication that he is alive," she said.
"We remained under the radar until now, but now we're coming out. We chose to speak to the media after the release on Shabbat (Saturday), our feelings are really not simple."
Ohana, 24 from Kiryat Malachi, was abducted from the Supernova Music Festival in Re'im. His mother revealed that he and a friend assisted the wounded at the festival and took them to ambulances.
Elkana Bohbot turned 36 last Saturday; he was also abducted from the music festival where he was working.
Rivka and Ruhama Bohbot, his wife and mother, spoke at the weekly rally in Tel Aviv on Saturday night: "Today is your birthday, and on behalf of the entire family, I want to tell you - you are not alone, you are strong and a survivor, and you will hold on. I want to wish you and us a miracle right now, that we will embrace you and never let go. Our little Ram David doesn't stop talking about you. He dreams of the day when he can run into your arms again."
"It's unbelievable that we're on day 533 of your captivity and we woke up to the black morning of returning to fighting, and with the testimonies of those who returned, we understand more than ever the dangers of war for the hostages. Therefore, on this day, I want to appeal to the Israeli government, to all decision-makers, to the Prime Minister - don't forget our hostages. We demand that you do everything to bring them back to us, before anything else you do - now. Happy birthday, my love. Waiting for your second birthday, the day of your return to us, home."

I know it’s been a long wait but the sixth installment of the ISO50 Playlist is finally up. Sam Valenti IV — the man behind Ghostly International — was kind enough to put together this latest edition of the playlist. Here’s a few words on the selections from Sam:
“This playlist is beats-heavy, they feel right for uncertain times.
There’s also a tip of the hat to some 90’s nostalgia: a hint of Drum &
Bass and filtered House thrown in for good measure. All in all, it’s
a set of listenable wares, without a lot of tire spikes to get caught
on.”
So sit back and enjoy… And if you like what you hear, let us know in the comments.

We had an odd weather event here in northern Illinois on Tuesday, September 13. Smoke from a wildfire more than 500 miles away, in northeastern Minnesota, had blown over our area and settled upon us. The air was hazy and smelled unpleasantly smoky (nothing like campfire smoke, which I enjoy smelling). I had planned earlier in the day to go to the Morton Arboretum, since I hadn't been in a couple of weeks, but when the smoke came along, I hesitated. I'm glad I decided to stick to my plan. As much as the smoke made my eyes burn a little and made it harder for my asthmatic lungs to breathe, I still managed to enjoy the afternoon in the hazy sun. Even in the haze, there was beauty to be found.

I journey home. The wind tears at my face as it scorches the snow. Drifts are indiscernible from the remainder of the canvas. Stumbling into many and with my head down i begin to lose my bearings zig-zagging from boundary to boundary. Looking down it's so pristinely white my eyes dazzle and small glittering flashes dot my vision. The howling noise at my lobes is as white as the scene and with my neck craned i push on. Every now and again the roar of the wind changes and my heart gushes as it deceives me and laughing, mimmicks the throb of an engine. Before too long i reach a sudden cliff. A never ending drift four foot in depth. I pause and suddenly this 3 mile charge home feels gargantuan. My hood lifted i turn my back to the wind and pull out a cigarette and fumbling through my pockets with numb hands i try and light it with my inhalor. This raises a smile which in turn cracks my lips. I fumble again, light the lucious laramie and let the smoke rush over the sting and as the taste of tar hits with a tinge of iron I turn into the bitter rush thanking god i hate to shave. I plod, i fall, my boots heave with snow and i suddenly realise that creaking sound isn't the snow but my asthmatic lungs. I fumble for my inhalor and produce my lighter when I realise i'm thinking of my baby. She may be wrapped up warm in her bed but now she's here with me, with her silly hat and her beautiful, silly grin. She's sending me her "Happy Fawts", spurring me on, as like a bairn the snow drift continues to run out ahead. Finally, after an hour, albeit triumphant, it grants me my wishes and stops for breath. I turn a corner i suddenly feel hard tarmac surge up through my heavy feet and stiff knees as they shudder with the delightful impact. As if in celebration a startled murder of crows take flight and a hundred dots of dense black ink bleed into the canvas and when they dissipate into the white wind the village comes into my readjusted focus. Three miles and two and a half hours later a hot brew awaits and moistens my lips fueling me with the warmth of home. After a meal i slink into my bed to thoughts of my baby. She's still warm and sound asleep in hers but not really because like always, she's right here with me, with that grin, wishing me a goodnight.

My mother, Flora Wright (R), with her sister, Gladys Murrell, taken some time in the late-1950s. I seem to remember Mum’s stylish, double-breasted suit was a pretty shade of green. Mum was very fond of the colour green, as am I. Aunty Glad was born on 26 July 1906 and Mum was born on 16 July 1911. They remained very close throughout their lives. They grew-up at Crows Nest on Sydney’s Lower North Shore. Mum was the youngest of five and Aunty Glad was the middle child. Their mother, Louisa Mary (known as May) Glover was an asthmatic. Being the youngest, Mum lost a great deal of school in staying home to look after her infirm mother. After just three years at Willoughby Girls’ High School, she was sent out to work. Probably the most memorable of Mum’s early jobs was as a doll-stuffer in a doll factory in Sailors Bay Road at nearby Northbridge, where Aunty Glad also worked, sewing the eyes on the dolls. Sounds positively Dickensian, but at least it wasn’t heavy work and they were indoors, out of the elements. In the 1920s, the family relocated permanently to Narrabeen, on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, where they had holidayed for many years previously. It was there that Mum and Aunty Glad were to meet their respective husbands to be, Ray Wright and Eric Murrell, and live out the remainder of their days. Mum died on 19 November 1991 at age 80, followed just 15 days later by Aunty Glad on 4 December 1991, aged 85. Close even in death.

My elder brother, John, & his wife, Merriam
Boy unknown (possibly Merriam's brother)
c. 1942, age 20 or 21
Drink Royal Crown
$1.25 cartons
All Brands Cigt's
19¢ pkg.
They married in late 1939 or early '40 when each was 18, & had the same birthday. Merriam, also of Irish descent, had a younger brother, & the boy in front of the cola cooler might well be him (he was a sailor by age 19). John dropped out of high school in his Sophomore year to work full time as a bicycle riding Western Union delivery boy for 2 years before getting married, & sometime after the wedding became a big city cigar salesman. He bought this small store about 1942, with money or credit I know nothing about, & owned it for perhaps 20 years, but rarely worked in it. In keeping with its era, it was a grocery store, not a convenience market, complete with vegetables, meats & everything else. It was near their home in a residential neighborhood, & mostly served housewives who walked to it because they did not own automobiles. Such tiny markets were common in the nation's cities. One can still find them in New York City & a few other places where no land is available for supermarkets & their parking lots
John was severely asthmatic, as am I, & thus did not serve in WWII. While selling cigars he joined the Junior Chamber of Commerce & the Masons. He rose to a vice-presidency in the Chamber, & eventually became a 32nd degree Mason. He got into these organizations very purposefully in order to make contacts. One of the contacts was DF, & John helped run DF's first campaign to become a U.S. congressman. DF won, took John to Washington, DC, to manage his offices, & they worked together very closely for many years (DF became head of a major congressional committee, & enjoyed a national reputation as a tough, plain speaking, hard working & politically clever, powerful Democratic liberal). Merriam also worked for DF.
Merriam died of lung cancer in the mid-1980s. John died earlier this year, age 87, of colon cancer. He often talked about this store, both fondly & angrily. It represented his early determination to succeed at something, & provided a degree of independence. As its sales volume steadily decreased in competition with new chains of speedy marts & supermarkets, he grew increasingly & viscerally hateful toward them.
People love Angel’s Trumpet. Their exquisite, large, fragrant flowers (over 9 inches long) scent the evening air to attract pollinating moths (and delight humans!). One unscented variety is pollinated by a tiny hummingbird that enjoys its nectar with no ill effects. A member of the Nightshade family, these shrubs are highly poisonous, but as in many such plants, in modern medicine they’re also beneficial; important alkaloids such as scopolomine, hyoscyamine, and atropine, found in Brugmansia and other related members of Solanaceae, have proven medical value for their spasmolytic, anti-asthmatic, anticholinergic, narcotic and anesthetic properties.
Brugmansia have traditionally been used in many South American indigenous cultures in medical preparations and as a ritualistic hallucinogen for divination, to communicate with ancestors, as a poison in sorcery and black magic, and for prophecy. In some areas, the sale of Brugmansia is prohibited, and they’re not recommended for private gardens if you have children or pets..
He tried to make the waitress smile by ordering a wartburger instead of a hamburger, but it didn't work. She was not impressed by him and his asthmatic car.

The unfortunate death of Aishwary Agarwal: the question of the hour jnuabvp.blogspot.fr/ .
The unfortunate death of Aishwary Agarwal: the 12th September 2009 question of the hour .
Friends .
11/09/09 .
We express deep sorrow and pain at the untimely demise of Aishwary Agarwal, 1st year student in the School of Information Technology at the late hours of 9th September. He had been suffering from Asthma for a long time. We extend our sincere condolences and support to his grief-stricken relatives. May his soul rest in peace. .
Friends, the death of Aishwary Agarwal arises many questions to us. Jawaharlal Nehru University is claimed to be a world class university by the dignified persons from all circles of our society, including our Vice Chancellor. But the activities going on in the university can truly be recognized a world class? .
Being a national university, students of JNU are hailed from all parts of India, with a hope of building a great future. So the administration has the moral responsibility to provide a campus with all the necessary facilities for them and make it a safe place to live in. A modern, well-equipped health centre for the students must be a priority for any recognized university. But please look at the disastrous condition of our health centre and the incompetence of the doctors working here for years. The number of ambulances is insufficient; there is no oxygen cylinder, no nursing nor any first-aid facility in those ambulances. The C.M.O s of our heath centre usually show a strange reluctance to give the students medical treatment even in common diseases like vomiting or fever and advice them to rush to hospitals like AIIMS or safdarjang. A major portion of the money spent for the treatment of the employees of JNU is reimbursed by the administration regularly, but the students of our university face innumerable problems to get reimbursement of even a meagre amount of money he spent during his illness. Another peculiar thing is that the health centre remains closed at the Sundays. So does the administration believe that diseases, infections and the viruses also take rest in the Sundays? .
At the fateful night when Aishwary felt a sudden attack of acute asthma and could not breathe properly, the ambulance was called on there and then. But even after repeated calls from the cell phone, there was no sign of any so called ambulance at the spot. It finally came around 27 minutes after the very first call (the fact has been accepted by Chief Security Officer). It was too late for such an emergency case. To make the matter worse, there was no oxygen cylinder (a must for asthmatic patients) in the ambulance. How could JNU administration allow such indolence to continue for years? .
Today when we met the Rector and expressed our grievances, he told us that he could not do anything in this regard because UGC didnt provide sufficient fund for such developments. How could a representative of an administration give such a statement which is spending thousands of Rupees for the beatification of the campus in broad daylight? The administration has already spent Rs 25,000 for the set-up of each lamp post. But why even a fraction of the amount can not be spent to buy important emergency apparatus like oxygen cylinders? The incompetent Vice Chancellor and the C.M.Os must take moral responsibility for such tragedy and resign from their posts. .
We demand to the administration for a well-equipped, 24*7 health centre with all modern facilities and at least four ambulances in our university at the earliest. We appeal to the students to stay united in our battle against the administration. Now we together take a solemn vow; such thing must not happen again. .

Here's a prime example of "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus" offered by an English professor:
The professor told his class one day: "Today we will experiment with a new form called the tandem story. The process is simple. Each person will pair off with the person sitting to his or her immediate right. As homework tonight, one of you will write the first paragraph of a short story. You will e-mail your partner that paragraph and send another copy to me. The partner will read the first paragraph and then add another paragraph to the story and send it back, also sending another copy to me.
"The first person will then add a third paragraph, and so on back-and-forth. Remember to re-read what has been written each time in order to keep the story coherent. There is to be absolutely NO talking outside of the e-mails and anything you wish to say must be written in the e-mail. The story is over when both agree a conclusion has been reached."
The following was actually turned in by two of his English students, Rebecca and Gary.
THE STORY:
(first paragraph by Rebecca)
At first, Laurie couldn't decide which kind of tea she wanted. The chamomile, which used to be her favorite for lazy evenings at home, now reminded her too much of Carl, who once said, in happier times, that he liked chamomile. But she felt she must now, at all costs, keep her mind off Carl. His possessiveness was suffocating, and if she thought about him too much her asthma started acting up again. So chamomile was out of the question.
(second paragraph by Gary )
Meanwhile, Advance Sergeant Carl Harris, leader of the attack squadron now in orbit over Skylon 4, had more important things to think about than the neuroses of an air-headed asthmatic bimbo named Laurie with whom he had spent one sweaty night over a year ago. "A.S. Harris to Geostation 17," he said into his transgalactic communicator. "Polar orbit established. No sign of resistance so far..." But before he could sign off a bluish particle beam flashed out of nowhere and blasted a hole through his ship's cargo bay. The jolt from the direct hit sent him flying out of his seat and across the cockpit.
(Rebecca)
He bumped his head and died almost immediately, but not before he felt one last pang of regret for psychically brutalizing the one woman who had ever had feelings for him. Soon afterwards, Earth stopped its pointless hostilities towards the peaceful farmers of Skylon 4. "Congress Passes Law Permanently Abolishing War and Space Travel," Laurie read in her newspaper one morning. The news simultaneously excited her and bored her. She stared out the window, dreaming of her youth, when the days had passed unhurriedly and carefree, with no newspaper to read, no television to distract her from her sense of innocent wonder at all the beautiful things around her. "Why must one lose one's innocence to become a woman?" she pondered wistfully.
( Gary )
Little did she know, but she had less than 10 seconds to live. Thousands of miles above the city, the Anu'udrian mothership launched the first of its lithium fusion missiles. The dim-witted wimpy peaceniks who pushed the Unilateral Aerospace Disarmament Treaty through the congress had left Earth a defenseless target for the hostile alien empires who were determined to destroy the human race. Within two hours after the passage of the treaty the Anu'udrian ships were on course for Earth, carrying enough firepower to pulverize the entire planet. With no one to stop them, they swiftly initiated their diabolical plan. The lithium fusion missile entered the atmosphere unimpeded. The President, in his top-secret mobile submarine headquarters on the ocean floor off the coast of Guam , felt the inconceivably massive explosion, which vaporized poor, stupid Laurie.
(Rebecca)
This is absurd. I refuse to continue this mockery of literature. My writing partner is a violent, chauvinistic semi-literate adolescent.
( Gary )
Yeah? Well, my writing partner is a self-centered tedious neurotic whose attempts at writing are the literary equivalent of Valium. "Oh, shall I have chamomile tea? Or shall I have some other sort of F_KING TEA??? Oh no, what am I to do? I'm such an air headed bimbo who reads too many Danielle Steele novels!"
(Rebecca)
Asshole.
( Gary )
Bitch
(Rebecca)
F__K YOU - YOU NEANDERTHAL!
( Gary )
Go drink some tea - whore.
(TEACHER)
A+ - I really liked this one.
I work down at The Pizza Pit
And I drive an old Hyundai
I still live with my mom and dad
I'm five foot three and overweight
I'm a sci-fi fanatic, mild asthmatic
Never been to second base
But there's a whole 'nother me
That you need to see
Go check out Myspace.
'Cause online I'm out in Hollywood
I'm six foot five and I look damn good
I drive a Maserati, I'm a black belt in karate
And I love a good glass of wine
It turns girls on that I'm mysterious
I tell 'em I don't want nothing serious
'Cause even on a slow day I can have a three-way chat
With two women at one time.
I'm so much cooler online
I'm so much cooler online.
I get home I kiss my mom
And she fixes me a snack
I head down to my basement bedroom
And fire up my Mac
In real life the only time
I've ever been to L.A.
Was when I got the chance with the marching band
To play tuba in the Rose Parade.
But online I live in Malibu
I pose for Calvin Klein
I've been in GQ
I'm single and I'm rich
And I got a set of six-pack abs that would blow your mind
It turns girls on that I'm mysterious
I tell 'em I don't want nothing serious
'Cause even on a slow day I can have a three-way chat
With two women at one time.
I'm so much cooler online
Yeah, I'm cooler online.
When you've got my kind of stats
It's hard to get a date
Let alone a real girlfriend
But I grow another foot and lose a bunch of weight
Every time I log in.
Online I'm out in Hollywood
I'm six foot five and I look damn good
Even on a slow day I can have a three-way chat
With two women at one time.
I'm so much cooler online
Yeah, I'm cooler online
I'm so much cooler online
Yeah, I'm cooler online.

The plant lives on the edges of forests, clearances, mountain meadows, wet meadows - quite widely distributed in Europe.
An old and very well known medical plant. Already the Romans used it. In the Middle Ages it was cultivated in gardens of monasteries and apothecaries. It is used against asthmatic symptoms, against arthritis and rheumatic diseases, headaches and many other symptoms. It was believed to be one of the most valuable healing herb.
The plant is also used to flavor wine and beer.

Regine went to Manila for the first time to work as a kasambahay when she was 17 years old. She left her family in Samar so that she could help with the family expenses. Her mother is asthmatic. Working in Manila will go a long way to aid medical expenses. Her main task at her employer’s home was to do general housework. She worked with another kasambahay and friend who came with her from Samar. Although Regine’s main task was housework, she helped her friend at times when it came to taking care of the kids. After a year of service as kasambahay, she went back to Samar to continue her high school education.

If you've never had a massage, you don't know what you're missing. Massage is an art form that eludes many people due to the mystery that surrounds the topic. A good massage can take place in a professional setting or in the comfort of your own home. Find out more below.
When giving a massage, consider using a little bit of oil. Oil helps you to rub your hands over the skin more easily, and it also makes it easier to go deeper with pressure while giving the massage. Almond oil, olive oil and baby oil are all good choices. If you wish, add a little crucial oil to make the massage fragrant.
The use of massage oil really does help usher in the extra feeling and sensation. This helps lessen tension and stress in the muscles. Technique is one thing, and having the right massage oil really does do the extra trick. Massaging the oil into the skin as you deep tissue massage is just wonderful.
Always be gentle when giving someone else a message. Even if the person you are massaging complains, you should avoid applying too much pressure to their muscles and joints. Unless you have been trained in message therapy, you are more likely to hurt them than to relieve their pain by being more forceful.
If your child suffers from asthma, consider massage. Massage has been proven to help breathing in asthmatic children due to the relaxing benefits it offers. A child's massage should be done with a gentle touch and only for a limited period of time. Try this in the evening and help your child to also appreciate a good night's rest.
Make sure that your massage therapist is registered in your state. If your massage therapist is not properly registered and insured, then you are at risk of being left to fend for yourself if they were to cause injury to you during their work. Do not worry about being rude, ask for proof so that you can be confident that you are in responsible hands.
When you are giving a massage, try not to use the same stroke over and over. This can make the whole experience mundane, as you want to incorporate as much change during the session as possible. Alter your technique, the stroke and how hard you press on the back, neck and thighs.
Healing of both new and old injuries can be accomplished via deep tissue massage. These go against the grain, which is very valuable for healing. In the case of repetitive use injury and ongoing pain, this type of massage is very handy.
Scented oils can make a massage feel much better. Try to keep scents mild and natural, rather than strong and over powering. Light floral scents as well as fruity scents are often best to stick with. This allows the person receiving the massage to just drift away in a relaxing trance.
If you are going to be giving a massage, make sure that you are using lubricant. Lubricant can be any form of lotion or even therapeutic oils. Whichever you choose, make sure that it is appropriate for the recipient of the massage. Lubricants can help you glide across the body without disturbing the rhythmic movements.
When you are confounded for what to give as a Christmas or birthday present, consider buying a coupon for a healthy massage! Everybody loves the soothing and relaxing benefits of a deep tissue massage and who couldn't use the extra pampering? Especially for the person who has everything, the gift of massage is perfect!
Never get a massage if your doctor advises against it. This may seem obvious, but usually, people will get a massage because they feel that it will help soothe them and make them feel better. If you have muscle tears, this could actually make them worse with constant pressure on your body.
If muscle pain is a problem for you, looking into deep tissue massage. This style of massage is effective at relieving tension. The therapist will rub your muscles in such a way that they release the stored of stress in the form of toxins. Never hesitate to speak up if you are feeling too much pressure.
If your massage therapist moves your arms, legs, hands, feet or neck, try your best not to resist or assist. This is a part of the massage, and it can help to release tension in certain parts of your body. If you put effort into helping, you might make the tension worse, and you are also taking away from the relaxation you should be experiencing.
You will need to convey any medical information to your masseuse. If you have allergies, it may be important to share that, too. Letting them know your medical history will help avoid problems that might arise if you do not speak up.
Research massage therapy. It is one thing to get a massage and feel wonderful, but it is another thing to really understand what is happening in your body. You are going to feel much better and have a much deeper understanding of why massage is is so good for you, which will mean even more minutes of bliss!
Do not pour the oil from the bottle onto your client's body. The oil will feel very cold if you do this. First, warm the oil by using your hands and then rub it on the person. That makes things more comfortable. A massage needs to be a soothing experience, and cold oil can jolt a person.
Although individual massages feel amazing, you may need to have several massages spread out over several weeks before you experience relief. It can take time sometimes for you to feel better. Your masseuse can suggest exercises or stretches that may help you feel better, as well, so ask him or her for insight.
