The Calvert Photography Club photo assignment for 03/16/2019 was "Light". We could only submit two pictures for judging. These were my attempts from which two were submitted. The subject matter consisted of a strong LED light array source, a very small glass cube(frosted on two faces), a plastic diffraction grating sheet, sometimes a plastic fresnel lens sheet, and on the bottom a sheet of very white high gloss ink jet printing paper.

Contrast assignment -- birch tree w/ birdhouse and shadows

I chose to use this photograph for the contrast assignment because i liked the defined lines that the setting sun created with the shadowed trees.
