Since the picture was light, because it was outside, I lowered the exposure but increased the contrast to make the grass and white standout. To make the field markers stand out I increased the whites as well. Since it was bright outside, I lowered the ISO to 200

On Saturday morning, 7 August 2010, first timers and paintball fanatics from all over Kitsap County gather at Northwest Paintball Park in Bremerton, owned by Jaymz and Kim Estes. The Park is operated in a family friendly way allowing for experienced and inexperienced players to all have fun.

I like the composition is this photo because the pinecone is so small in relation to everything else. This makes the photo feel more dramatic.

Assignment 1: Portraits

ACK!! Today (Sunday) is the only nice day we've had all week...hate waiting until the last second to try to get something done....oh well :)

I put the F-Stop at 29 hoping to create a blur of the water while I followed the ducks. I knew it would be hard to get the image sharp focus because the slow shutter speed I had set. I realize this images is not sharp by any means I just really enjoy how you can almost see the entire flap of the ducks wings as they come in for the landing.
