The Calvert Photography Club photo assignment for 03/16/2019 was "Light". We could only submit two pictures for judging. These were my attempts from which two were submitted. The subject matter consisted of a strong LED light array source, a very small glass cube(frosted on two faces), a plastic diffraction grating sheet, sometimes a plastic fresnel lens sheet, and on the bottom a sheet of very white high gloss ink jet printing paper.

These were small figures on a dislpay of the sinking vasa. I took a close-up picture to get the effect that they were life-size. They are not natural, but I thought this was a neat picture.

I liked experimenting with this assignment. It actually took me quite a few tries to get the "y" correct. I thought I did a good job at making my name readable. I thought I could have chosen a spot that was darker so I wouldn't get any reflection from the lights. Oh, and I go by my middle name Troy, so that's why I decided to use that one, plus it's a lot shorter than trying to spell Raymond.
