Ice Scream you scream, we all scream to get a ride on Ice Scream. But first the boat needed to be transformed from a trailer to a mighty stern steering ice boat. Ingenious how the boat literally was its own trailer complete with all the tools and mechanisms need to lift and fit all the pieces together. In the end, she’s a beauty to behold skimming over the lake. 3 generations have loved and looked after this family heirloom
Inspired by Defekto, I asked for lime-marinated, grilled meat for dinner on Saturday. NovySan complied, with butter-lime-ginger-garlic-black truffle oil-soaked chicken, pork and cilantro chicken sausage skewers, with tomatoes and bell peppers. The meal was complimented by margaritas, made with Trader Joe's new margarita mix -- unlike the Sauza mix, it doesn't have any high-fructose corn syrup, so it's not too sweet.

This is the line assembler for the skytrain extension. The yellow steel structure is attached to the support pillars; individual concrete sections of the line (you can see the divisions between them visible as vertical lines) are then suspended from the yellow structure, aligned horizontally, and then pulled together using cables; cemented together; and then dropped into place as a single unit. Once the support pylons are up, it is an incredibly fast and efficient way to put up the line. With the line support in place, the actual tracks can then be laid down. Alas, due to a malfunctioning lens, I was not able yet to capture the early part of the process. Keep watching.
