On June 22, 2023, the final munition in the obsolete stockpile of chemical weapons in Colorado was safely destroyed by the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant workforce. The PCAPP government/contractor team, which includes Bechtel, Amentum, Battelle and GP Strategies, gathered at the plant with representatives from the U.S. Army Pueblo Chemical Depot and the Colorado Chemical Demilitarization Citizens’ Advisory Commission to commemorate this achievement.
PCAPP destroyed more than 780,000 munitions containing more than 2,613 U.S. tons of mustard agent. The last munition was destroyed by the Static Detonation Chamber complex.

About to sit down to see "The Rise of the Planet of the Apes" and I saw this in the theater! I don't have words for the feelings the potential for this movie evokes in me. New appreciation for superhero comics? Even less money for Kirby's heirs? Attention to Kirby's heirs? A really good film? As always, I hope for the best.
